GMOD has such a great community of map builders. Wish hammer was a little easier to use for beginners. Would love see more people get into making maps.

Librarian you have no clue how happy it makes me that you're one of the people keeping gmod alive and above even that putting a spotlight on these brilliant maps or a better word would be experiences because of how much care have been put into them. @59:07 It depends on the base and the branch of service. Air Force galleys had the best food and selection, and the only bad meal I had at a Navy galley was a fish meal on Thanksgiving at basic. But yes, gumbo or some sort of soup (minestrone was common, also) was almost always available.

You know what Gm_Requiem Reminds me of, The Russian Sleep Exeriment, only in Gm_Requiem, it keeps you asleep and not awake.

HELL YEAH ANOTHER LIBRARIAN VIDEO

First map was awful with the lame scares. Second map was amazing. Everything was somehow perfectly timed to catch you off guard at the best possible moment. No idea if that was luck or some extreme programming.

It's so surprising to hear about the Weewoo Box after so long, considering how not far of these maps were made compared to GM Paranormal! Who'd-a-thought GMod had some nifty relics like these!... Actually, don't answer please. Librarian has at this point cornered the market on nostalgia and history when it comes to stuff like this. XD

The only thing that actually bugged me was the stereotypical way too quiet voice recording, even with headphones it's almost overshadowed by solely the background noise alone :/ And maybe a few cheap loud sound shenanigans in the first, otherwise they were pretty well put together.

Btw, this map actually has a "second ending". I won't spoil what exactly happens if you don't escape, but you have to let the final monster catch you instead to unlock the second ending.

someone will probably steal this idea, but I was working on a dark souls soapstone messages like system for maps. Would be cool to be exploring maps seeing what people wrote down etc

Not even 2 minutes into the video and The Librarian is brapping into his mic and pretending it was a jumpscare so he can gaslight himself for a minute on end.

You should get some mods for it like one that adds more options like picking up ragdolls and a hand collision mod

From the description of the video, it reminds me of the SCP Foundation not gonna lie. A secret facility, testing on human prisones, a breach.

Not only do I remember the weewoo box, the first map reminded me so much of that starting area that I thought it was gonna have a similar mechanic ajd was hyped for the weewoo box sequel.

59:53: That sounds more like an heavy metal door opening and closing periodically, which is unnerving in itself because who is repeatedly opening the door. The first instance was when Observer 11 shot himself (Atleast I assume that's him.) And the second instance was when the Mist attacked you. My theory is that we escaped at the tail-end of the Breakout that occurred, maybe the whispering in the vents are the inmates hiding from whatever's patrolling the facility. Which begs the question, What happened? Was it like an Russian Sleep Experiment-esque event when the nerve gas opened the door for some sort of possession. But on the other hand, weird events seemed to be happening even before the Breakout. Perhaps the forays into necromancy succeeded? But not in the way they intended and something else came back in their bodies? But this also begs the question, why did Observer 11 kill himself, aswell as other staff? Did something coerce them into doing it? Did they find out something they shouldn't have? Was it out of desperation? 1:02:40: Looks like whatever they wanted to keep in got out... It also looks like whatever the Entity's plan was it succeeded and it was merely using you as a tool to escape. 1:03:43: Yep, it's definitely out. So my final thoughts are it's definitely some sort of demonic entity, possibly able to enter the the real world through (whatever?) either way, the lore established that this thing had been happening for a while. And it was definitely using you as a vessel to escape. That was pretty smart. Still doesn't tell me if the Mist or the Entity are entirely separate or different forms. The Entity seems to have a Fallen Angel appearance while the Mist seems to be a black, toxic smog. Which entity is responsible for the Breakout? I do not know, but anyway that's enough theorizing for today my leg is starting to cramp from me sitting in the same position for an hour.

Love how it says no cheap jumpscares, and literally the first scare is stalker one. Also for the missing texture, i think you need to increase your decal limit, but it has to do with the decals. Either some addons are in conflict, also it's wise to atleast dissable maps you have already covered if you havent. I think i had that problem too, but don't remember how i fixed it. Edit: Also try verifying the integrity of game cache for HL2 and Gmod, that might fix it.
