This release is fire from what I've seen in the vid, -although as Romeo said, it's not working, probably since I'm not on Ubuntu, but Fedora 39.- What a chad, he fixed it in half an hour after I posted the comment

Hmm... The weird part is, when you export the app bundle on F39, it works on F40, Ubuntu 24.04 and F39 (of course) but not the other way round :/

This is a really great tool. I use the version 1.2 version on Endeavour OS KDE to customise GTK themes. Especially switching between light and dark theme of the GTK4 is so easy. It just that the version 1.3 does not blend in with the other GTK theme, so I am still using the version 1.2.

Colloid looks the same (bad) on v1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 I probably didn't catch the issue you're facing. Is it how the theme is applied to the app Evolve?

@ArcTechnologies Yes particularly the window buttons....only one appears, and it's always on the right side even when i have changed it such that all the other gtk apps I use have the three buttons and on the left side .

I favoured kde over gnome all the time but lately not so much because kde when update has a lot of bugs. Kde is great desktop envronment and has crazy customizabiliy options but i am starting to see that if linux wants to be viable alternative to windows in best possible way than distros need to adopt gnome or gnome based desktops as official desktop because gnome comes with most complete set of aplications you'll need both for business and everday life alike. Of distros that i know ZorinOS created layouts that bring feel from a Windows and mac to linux, they also have varieties of windows such as classic or even windows 11 plus some other layouts unique to other desktop environments even gnome 3 layout i think..., they did it both on xfce and gnome and trust me... they did it great. Evolve just brought so much more to Gnome. Cosmic desktop from PopOS is also gnome based.

Bro I have some Ideas for you. Can you add a text field call "Run On Theme apply" or something to add our custom shell scripts that run on theme apply. 🙂 Also can you make that photo album work rescusivly for a dir that conatins lots of photo dirs Thank you 🙃
