I don't know why people blame the DA. The ANC governed for 30 years and failed. It won't help to weaken the DA and strengthen the ANC. The outcome will be the same as the 30 wasted years. The DA will be like a car owner with no steering wheel.

What have the ANC done to improve the lives of people in South Africa? The ANC ran this country down to nothing. It's even embarrassing to say we are part of BRICS. South Africa is the odd one out. Parties must put their differences aside and put people in positions that can do the job ..Theres no way you can put someone in a position that they know nothing about apart from looking after their own pockets . Absolutely.. these break away parties only want positions, voters dudnt vote for them to have fat pay checks with free hones, no water electricity or rates , to pay, they have big car allowance, plus 1 5 million to 2 million per annum.. These people had enough times to save jobs but they didnt save SAA post office, railways , textiles industries, and buy from china closing our textile factories and creating jobs fror the BRICS poor countrys .. we import n send tax money to create jobs for them. Could it be that the DA's "condescendance" in asking for key positions is rather a confidence and surity of the specific type of positive contribution they believe they can have to the goverment. It seems to me that the DA is not doubting their political vision for the country (where they can make a difference) , other than what the ANC might be experiencing. Is the ANC in an identity crisis? Is SA in "uncharted identity waters" 😅
Nothing random, the DA would have put their "demands" down before they voted for cr to become president....the anc thought they could renege- they do not realize that they've lost the majority vote and therefore their total power.

The word "politics" are used way too loosely. The State / President, "to be formed" has a fiduciary responsibility to put in place a machine for which he might be sued, if any of the appointees, falter. The stomach issue of most SA unqualified politicians, is disgraceful, to say the least. Citizens leave our lives in the "capable hands" of incumbent administrators (politicians). PLB

In Germany awa the Netherlands awa Sweden the FIRST thing the parties agree on is the distribution of departments(you get the PM plus 5, you get 4 plus the vp, you get 2 plus a vp). What they ALL agree on is to make the division of the departments CONDITIONAL on arriving at an agreement. Because ALL political parties in Europe are one way or the other IDEOLOGICAL, they ALL, after reaching an agreement, have to go back to their base, CALL A CONGRESS in order to have the results accepted. It is THIS HARD FACT which make ANY publication of a division of Cabinet posts PREMATURE!! But again: BEFORE they set to negotiate they've fully agreed on the partition of the portfolios. REASON WHY after the CONGRESS of e.g. the 4 coalition parties give the proverbial 'green light' to enter into the coalition, the parties WITHIN 24 HOURS run to the media with the result of the 'deliberations' wrt the division of the portfolios.
The problem is the ANC leads the country for 30 years,they used to power,they don't know and understand the notion of power sharing,they still think they won the elections ;;they don't want to give ministries where they have failed;now they think in terms of ANC not south Africans first ;most of them don't know the parameters of negotiation of this kind;it's high bar,but they put in forefront mbalula 😂
