GNU | Opposition parties geared up to take on the government of national unity 

The possibility of a coalition government after the 2024 National and Provincial Elections was already predicted eleven months ago.
A two-day National Dialogue on Coalitions was hosted at the University of the Western Cape in August last year.
However, no legal framework was put in place despite a draft declaration agreed on during the dialogue, bringing political parties, think tanks and civil society together.
