Golfer Left Visibly shocked after achieving perfect ball striking in just 5 minutes.
Jason Fox, star of the hit TV Show Celebrity SAS took a golf lesson with Danny Maude. What happened next was truly remarkable.
Jason Fox, a beginner golfer of two years couldn't strike his irons shots with any precision and would never take out his driver on the golf course for fear of slicing it into the woods.
Armed with one simple golf tip Jason immediately gained 15 yards. But it didn't stop there. The gains just kept coming, 10, 20, 30, 40 yards 😲.
and this was just with his irons.
Could it work with the driver. Could he hit driver straight and long?

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On RU-vid and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight.If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.
I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.
We look at 3 things:
1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver
and I hope to do all this with simple golf tips so you can create an effortless golf swing

Ever since I discovered your channel my iron game has increased massively. I love how you’re not too technical and rely more on feeling a certain motion. Because a lot of times people on youtube will tell you a million positions you’re suppose achieve at specific parts but mever really can tell you what to feel while in motion. For some reason you’re the only guy I can understand and actually feel what you tell me to feel.

I reckon that's a critical key. It's fine to watch and learn from instructional videos but I also too believe you need to find a decent instructor and stick with him/her. Because watching 20 different PGA teachers, will possibly end up with 20 different instructions on how to "fix" the same flaw.

The only “weird” part of this is the absolute lack of reference to what drew us into this video. Where in the video is the part where you discuss the hosel being ahead of the ball as shown in the initial screen for the video. The video was valid advice to stay loose and control your swing path. It certainly isn’t what drew us in though. You’re a great instructor Danny but drop the click bait that so many others do to reel us in.

Hi Danny, I need some help. In the need to make SURE I make a hip turn (without that it's arms), I have got myself not understanding how I initiate the swing. It's come out of nowhere! The challenge for you. I'm a solid 5 handicap and I regularly shoot 70,s 70-79 depending on the tees I we choose. Result I have started wobbly kneeing until I finally swing! It,s crazy. I remember that I said I play decent golf. My practice swing is fine and it all started with how do I initiate the swing. It's about "together" if I remember correctly. (I have played since 11 years old and I'm 68 now. 2 \3 rounds a week no time to practice anymore. Close to shooting my age. Help, please. Hip turn, hands \ shoulder turn, both, or whatever works. It's only because I'm so good that I feel I'm not being laughed at.
@DanielMaude
@DanielMaude Год назад
Hi David, the best way to answer your question is to give you a little story about how I initiate the swing. Many people when they watch Golf videos see that I have a little forward press towards the target. This is something that I’m not consciously aware of what I’m doing, but I am aware that I do it simply because I did it on video. So when somebody asked me, how do I initiate the swing, the initiation of your swing, should be a reaction to your target . A reaction to what you visually see the golf ball doing. So here’s what I suggest as a good player first establish the flight of the shot that you want to play see that flight the height of the shot the shape of that shot the landing down the middle of the fairway onto the green, then simply walk to the golf ball with a particular cadence Take one look at the target go back to golf ball and immediately go. Never think about what initiates the swing, as this will tie you up in knots. Allow your body to simply react to what you’re seeing and what you want the golf ball to do . A simple analogy that might also help. Imagine sat on a beach looking out to sea. It’s very peaceful then all of a sudden you hear a very very loud noise behind you. What do you do? What does your head do? What does your body do? How does your body move? What initiated that movement. The answers to those questions are very similar to how I want your body to move when it comes to golf
@davidclissold4481
@davidclissold4481 Год назад
@@DanielMaude So far I have learned a new word. Canance. Not the reply I was expecting. Which is good. Yes tied in knots! Sometimes after doing an Elvis Presley I have to stop and walk away. Ok. I have taken photos of your suggestion. Time for some practice. See how it goes.
@davidclissold4481
@davidclissold4481 Год назад
Hi Danny, so sorry no time to practice but I went out and played Tuesday after re-reading your instructions. I went with concentrating on the routine and target, don't think and let fly. I should mention that my usual pre-shot routine is casual a swing, then settle over the ball checking the alignment of my feet square to target and shoulders square to aliment to draw fade or hit straight. I then slowly go through 2 practice swings back and to the ball to ensure the swing path. Then I go! (Or try to go. 1. I cut out the practice swing except for driver. 2. In general I improved by eliminating my wobbly knee issue by 75%. 3. Played one forward from the tips. Wedges into 5 of the first 6 holes. Painted the flag stick every time 100% ball striking for me. Caddie said we shot 70. No I missed a few short puts. The Golf was spot on. 72. Is more accurate. However, It's not cured. After the second practice 'half swing to the ball each time" I guess 4 out of 5 times I managed to get my swing started almost immediately and got the ball away. 1 out of five I got into a wobbly knee for a couple of seconds before letting fly. Amazingly the shots were solid. I still hit 7 iron 145 carry as I have always done. Driver longer than ever thanks to you. Maybe I should get my caddie to take some videos. Did you ask me to phone you? Thanks for your support. That's really nice of you.

I like the phrase "forceful fluidity" to describe the golf swing. Fred Couples, V Singh, T woods, John Huston, Gary Hallberg .. Snead, Hogan ... well *any* touring pro, how handicap amateur ;) all RELEASE that *da*mn club !!! As someone who has "blocked" / "held on" to the club to a certain extent for almost 50 yrs, I finally got it through my thick skull last summer, on what a truly free - fluid release of the clubhead should feel like. For anyone in reasonbly good physical condition who is hitting a 7i less than 140-150 yds, they are most likely also blocking their clubhead AND "body release" due to excessive tension and/or "over control" Loosening up the shoulders and arms was a great tip. Your "club twirl" @ 4:00 was something you should have shown him right off the bat. @1:30 I would also like you to have "walked" his clubhead back to the "backswing L" position, by just having him totally relaxing his wrists (while still maintaining a "secure" finger grip. ... And "walking" / or demonstrating getting to the "forward L" position of the clubhead. He actually did loosen up his wrists, without you having to mention it him, which is of course why he started to release the club so much better. Along with relaxing the hands, arms and wrists, he is still missing out on another 20-40 or who knows how many yards, by his overly tight *lower body*. He *DID* finally release his right side finally @ 7:30, and really nicely released the *clubhead* PAST his body on that swing. I liked how you also got him to start moving his legs / hips. Mike

Danny, I have noticed that at the start of the swing, you always move your body a tad bit to the left (towards target). However that movement is so subtle and quick that I cant even study it after repeatedly replaying the vidoes. Can you please comment on it. I have a feeling that it is a trigger for your swing. Please expain it in detail. Thank you !!!!
@DanielMaude
@DanielMaude Год назад
Yes it’s my trigger. It’s not intentional but instinctive. It’s very visible for me but all the best players move their pressure towards the target as they start the swing. Always remember Force precedes motion. So for me to swing the club away from the target I push towards the target first

1mill danny! I'm happy for you! Great lesson! Tension is the enemy. I try to conduct my business like max homa and Patrick cantlay. I no longer rush myself on course. I'm very polite, so I feel bad when someone is behind me, waiting, when it's not a "play through" situation. I try to remember, "i paid my good money just like they did and I'm not going to let them ruin my game." Just walking slower and much more deliberately has helped me tremendously.

It's just fantastic. I've read at least 20 other comments and agree with them all. I have commented before on your style of teaching and demonstrating. The problem you create is that it is difficult to find superlatives to describe your video and audio teaching anymore. I have been watching several other golf video training people lately, and Danny, you are the best. You really do have a God-given talent to communicate much in very few words, plus your demonstration is simple and direct and understandable. Incredibly useful for all levels of golf talent and ability, in the same lesson. Jason Fox is a great student and is humble , also. I still love to see your Dad in lessons, however. Here I am at 7:30 am on a Sat. morning after a night out to a golf club pub to have a few and listen to some music, and the first thing I do is watch a Danny Maude video. You never disappoint. You and Jason made me smile during your session as though I was there with you witnessing the improvement. The only other golf videos I will watch now are the late, great Mow Norman. Thank you, Danny and keep up the great work. Thanks, Mr. Fox for sharing your session. Good luck to you. I'll be watching

Was wondering if any golfer can relate to this. I have been golfing the last 6 years my handicap has never really improved, it has actually got worse. I started at 20 and went up to 28. I hit my clubs well and for being a 28 handicap I hit my 6 irons around 190 yards. But I never seem to have any luck when I play a round. I can go par for a few holes then it's ding double double ding and i ruin my card. It happens all the time now. It's not the same all the time, it will be a mix of 3 off the tee, a crap chip , crap putt or a random duck hook. I'm really struggling cause I feel like I have the potential to be an 18 handicap, that is my current goal but I feel like I can't get a steady 18 bogu golf. I always have a good and bad hole per hole and just wondering if there is any advice. I have done lessons but the last time they said my swing was good. I just want steady golf. Not sure if I need to play more gently or if it is between my ears. It's annoying because sports wise I've always been pretty good at most sports. Struggling to find a solution Any help would be amazing

I think the first thing to establish is to discover the one thing that will drop the most shots. Eg if you keep messing up your drive only focus on that. Just improve that one thing first. Golf can be overwhelming if you try to work on everything all at once

Hi Danny, I'm wondering if you could explain how to hit longer clubs in the same rhythm as shorter ones at different speeds. When I'm hitting wedges less than 100 yards, usually a lob wedge & sand wedge, my rhythm & sync is really good but as soon as I use an A wedge for 100 yards, or clubs for more distance, I swing harder & lose the rhythm & sync I had. How do I swing longer clubs faster at the same rhythm as shorter ones? Thanks.
@DanielMaude
@DanielMaude Год назад
Hi Mike, the rhythm will always feel faster with the longer clubs because the club head has to swing so ouch faster to get the required distance . To achieve a great rhythm use auditory curs like counting or humming. Use visual cues like picturing your favourite golfer while swinging your longer clubs. Use more feel like breathing in on the way back and exhaling on the way down.

I seem to have better technique and my driving is better. Plus I hadn't played in 7 years before last week so it's like I'm starting again. So the way I see it is if I'm starting again then why not try it another way. I still hit my chip shots and I putt cack handed though. I've played 3 rounds in a week and I've went from crazy bogies on my first round, crazy bogies and a par on my second round and yesterday I managed crazy bogies, 3 pars and 2 birdie attempts. 1 birdie putt turned into a double bogie. I actually hit a hole in one cack handed back in the day 😂

Yes! So weird how this video came up. I just got back from golfing, and this was my only swing thought today. Just relax, and feel the club swinging. I normally get too wrapped up in positions, and swing thoughts. This always creates tension, and feels like I’m trying to guide the club, which is a killer in the golf “swing”. I shot even par 72 today, and struck the ball beautifully. No chunks, no skulls. I just needed a couple more putts to fall. Great video!

Congrats on shooting a par round! I haven’t attained that yet; but, hopefully someday; and feel I have a much better chance via watching Danny’s teaching.
@jamiesloan7259
@jamiesloan7259 Год назад
@@kbrown4ou Danny’s teaching is unique. He teaches task, and intention. Most instructors teach positions, and technique. A great way to feel an effortless golf swing is to grab your 4 longest irons and just swing them back n forth, around yourself on an arc. Full backswing, to a full follow through, and back to full backswing over and over. The weight of those 4 clubs together won’t allow you to manipulate them with tension. You’ll naturally swing them on the perfect arc, and plane. Your feet will engage as the perfect braking system, as weight transfers. Your hips, and shoulders will turn, and work properly. Your forearms will naturally roll, as intended. And, your hands, and wrists will even work like they’re supposed to.

Good lesson, but no relation whatsoever, with the picture at start. Every lesson of any golf tube is about hitting more solid and thus creating shaft lean at impact… everyone should use the same pic then for every lesson?
