Come with me on a field trip to visit Evan Marks founder of The Ecology Center. A regenerative organic farm in San Juan Capistrano, California.
"We create lasting change in behaviors toward food and agriculture, through a process of education, mentorship and indelible experiences."
I love spending hours at The Ecology Center seeing what they're growing participating in workshops, attending their communal dinners and shopping from their abundant farm shop.
Its also where Andrew and I got married! So clearly a very important place to me.
I love to see that more and more community minded farms and gardens are thriving all over the world and people are interested in interacting with the land and shortening their food supply chain.

You are making a difference Bonnie. Slowly but surely. I am one of these people whom you’ve made an impact upon. I am now shopping locally with farmers and picking up trash at my beaches and DIY-ing gifts and mending instead of throwing away. This is a journey and im so happy you are here to guide us through

Great video! I love Oddbox for anyone in London (not sure about other areas, but there are probably similar companies as well). It’s not always local but they send you a veg or fruit box with wonky food or seasonal food that supermarkets won’t buy anymore. Helps with food waste and is totally affordable!
