As an introvert, it’s sometimes challenging for me to start feeling comfortable after moving. Finding the little places I love to be, making a few little habits has helped me. Getting strong roots in my surroundings then helps me to branch out. Go gently x

I watched the first video and saw her picking up trash off the ocean and beach and everytime I go to the beach I always clean up and pick the trash up and put them in either trash or recycling all thanks to her since that’s how she inspired me.
I'm not entirely sure what it is but there is something calming about this adult version of Bonnie Wright, she seems mature and wise and like someone who would be a really nice friend.

Nice idea to use seed paper for the bookmarks. Can you plant them? One thing we do to make bookmarks is to take holiday card envelopes we have received and cut out the stamp and right side to form a decorative bookmark.
Former San diegan, now expat in Britain here. You might like to check out Solana Beach and Cardiff-by-the-sea. There’s the Cedros Design District in Solana and lots of inspiring art / local businesses. Encinitas also had plenty of eco-conscious stores when I lived there.
The traffic has really increased in the past 20 years with a lot of people moving down from LA. However it’s a pretty spread out city, so you can find less busy areas.

Although I live in America, I’m a huge fan of British television and one of my favorite programs is Gardeners’ World. The program asks for viewers worldwide to send in a short video of their home garden to be included in their weekly broadcast. You should visit their web site and make a video of your garden. It might also be an opportunity to speak about your Go Gently lifestyle while sharing the short tour of your garden.
I live in germany and went from a city into a completely rural place with a beach and I still live there since I was nine years old. Everything was new and exciting, new school, new people and a completely different dialect of german which I had to learn to understand. when I turn 18 in three years, I'll move into a bigger city again, not because I like the dirty air and cars, just because I can't get to work where I currently live. My life will change a lot the next years and moving into a new environment can be nice but very frightening as well.

I can't express enough how much I would love to have a little house in a quiet, green place and live as ecologically as I am capable of. But this is a future I will never achieve. And now I have to deal with flatmates who have problem even with segregating their trash. It makes me so sad that sometimes I feel unbearably overwhelmed.

This channel has been so refreshing and fun to watch, I check for new episodes all the time! I’ve been changing up my grocery shopping lately to include less plastic packaged products, and have found products packaged with cute glass containers which I can then reuse for various things such as candle making, etc. It’s been so fun!

I moved with my wife and 2 children this time last year, first time ever away from my home town in Lancashire (UK) to a remote Scottish island called Sanday in the Orkneys. It was a strange time to move during the pandemic, so there has not been the same opportunity for making friends. But I threw myself into it anyway and joined the healthy walks group, volunteered at the community garden, did a zoom drawing class, beach yoga, the book club, and the outdoor swimming group, the Sanday Selkies! Enjoyed meeting all the lovely folk, and have kept going with book club and Selkies (all through winter 🥶😂) recently started indoor swimming as the pool opened up, and hoping to get to learning traditional Scottish dancing this Friday night 😊 I found joining the walking group was initially brilliant as it showed me all the best spots, as well as meeting lots of different people. Also we found it well worth our time asking in the two shops for eco friendly products, one kept all the refill stuff in the back so it wasn't immediately apparent they had it 😊 and they were both willing to order in favourite plant based foods for us. It's been great to experience a whole year of seasons in the new house. Happy house warming Bonnie 💜
