If your flipping through the air you dont want to be attached to that thing. Lets say you flipped and went head first into the tire wall with a roll bar... brocken neck, back? Without one, you roll out of it safely to the side and stop before it gets to the tire wall, maybe with only a few bruises. And with something that light, its not like a car, they can take off incredibly fast and incredibly high, its the same reason that motorbikes dont have seat belts or roll cages. :)

ya, we have some here that are indoor go karts but they have all the safety stuff

general rule of thumb for racing like this. Its the same for moto GP, never pass on the inside.

There was no gap in the first place. With that incorrect driving line and speed you would be out of track anyway. Reckless driving. I do this sometimes against A.I drivers on computer games, but there you can save, load and restart the game whenever you want.

with a rol baar these wont be that fast and safe its safer without because if youre kart flys 10 m in the air you dont wonna be in a rol lcage but on the ground

wow, how about the injuries? looks like nothing serious? this is one reason why helmet is needed, otherwise I never see how can you hurt your head in cartings. But I am thinking this can break your body maybe. Damn sports which does not looks dangerous, might be maybe. I like to drive 9 HP carts. Would not like to rollower :)
