you guys need to remember that this is pre - order sales.... once production is up and running, I'm sure prices will go down. He is a trying to start a business and raise capital to work with. I read somewhere that the target price for the complete kit was around $650 with shipping included. If you ask me, that's a pretty good deal on a brand new American made kart......

It’s a year later and the price Is 1.2 grand so I think it’s getting to that 650 dollar range that’s really good

I've raced every kart type there is. Super kart Macs & 4 strokes. I've even built a couple. But that fro t suspension looks cool. I wonder how well it works?

You could buy a high performance race kart for less I'm in the UK and I have a formula tkm I race that does 75mph and is the top end of performance in karting for roughly the same price, I can appreciate retro karts like f100 but this isn't worth it

Is it possible to get the frame that has the front axle angled up. I see on the website two different pics of the frame. One with a straight front ankle and the one with the axle angled up slightly.

KartFab 300. Even if that means remove the springs, put Chinese tires, etc.. make it as cheap as possible but have the other parts as an "upgraded" kit. Like others said, this is a basic looking cart with a premium price tag.

interesting, no wonder go kart manufacturers went out of business. I guess people aren't even wiling to pay for the cost of materials, let alone the labor costs to build one of these ill be giving dennis some of the feedback as i do not price these out, just did the video for him in exchange for some machine work. I know it costs way more than $300 for them to make one.

KartFab I'm sure it's a high quality frame, but also have to realize that most see these as kids toys. These are bought for kids and for 600 you can buy a used Honda 4 wheeler or a decked out Chinese kart with lights and shocks. Not a profitable market unless you get into parts like gopowersports. Just my observation... hope they make a comeback

He should price it more competitively with something like the azusa go kart kit it is only $730 and seems much better for the money you see all these go kart businesses going out of business for that reason $1100+ just isn’t for me

Guys help me out. My Go kart as a kid was called "Hot Banana", and I can't find a picture anywhere! The frame was very similar to yours, but it had a spoiler in the middle that went from behind the steering wheel all the way down to the front of the front tires, and also a wing in the back above the engine behind the seat. Have you guys ever seen one?

I've been waiting for these to hit the market since I saw the prototype kit assembly video quite some time ago. They look great, but I do hope they can get the price down some. I'm a pretty big guy. Can you provide any information on the dimensions and wheelbase measurements for the standard and xl frames? Thanks

R Adair for the prototype XL we took the same frame, welded the steering hoop 3" further forward and moved the front axle + pedals forward 6". We may go more and raise the steering wheel on production models.

KartFab, for your off Road live axel go kart how much faster could you go if you upgraded to the 40 series tork converter?

+Harry TheRandom you get a slightly higher top speed, but you accelerate much faster. The one wheel drive kart goes 25-30mph and the deluxe live axle goes 35 mph.

KartFab No more than $1000. I built my own and the smaller of the two cost about $1300 to build.

Just asking out of curiosity for Dennis, how much would you think would be a 'good price' for the frame. e.g. not like a lowball number, but what you would pay (hypothetically speaking) because I have no sway or say in the pricing.

not sure, if i had to guess 14 ga. but coudl be 11 ga. The manco karts origianlly did 14 ga with 11 ga front axle.

A good competition would be to see how long you can walk behind a vertical shaft engine on four wheels on other peoples lawns until you qualify for enough currency to exchange it for the goods you desire.
