Im 44 years old frenchie, follow you since long time saw you « growing up » and your evolution and how you became a woman and wife with lovely Jake. You are so inspiring, positive and sunny person 🌞. Love your videos, keep going. Kisses from France 🇫🇷
Sissel please tell Jake that he looks amazing!! I thought he looked different and it took me a second to realise it's because he looks bigger from the extra muscle. He looks like he's a lot healthier and is just giving this high vitality vibe, keep up the good work! 😊 I love how uncomplicated and peaceful your relationship is, you are both in a very good place and it's very inspiring. ❤
you and jake make me want to fall in love! I still remember when he was just a blurry face to us haha. I've actually always been alone so I don't know how it feels to share your life with someone else but I love how you two have shared with us what building a life together has meant for you and it's so appreciated. always on the sidelines cheering you on 🫶
That's relationship goals right there. I have that kind of open and mutually respecting relationship with my mother. We both only want the best for one another and always make an effort to work on ourselves to improve our relationship. It is very wholesome and we have grown a lot over the years. It must be heaven on earth to find a partner like that. I am so incredibly happy for both of you❤
need more videos of you two like this. you and your husband remind me of my man and i, and its so comforting and inspiring to see both of you have the desire to fill the other’s cup and willing to grow with each other. thank you sissel 🩶
I agree with the "need to be healed" aspect. I believe if you are open to healing with your significant other, then you are good. I've been married seven years and have done the most healing after meeting my husband. He was the key! I needed to have someone in my corner to love me unconditionally in order to let go of the unhealthy relationships I was holding on to
i love the part where you talked about saying youre grateful for the little things. Since I was little, I always thanked my mom for dinner after I had finished eating. And of course, she was going to feed me everyday regardless of if I thanked her. But I hope she appreciated it! I'm moved out now but my little brother followed me and starting saying thankyou too, so I hope he still says it everyday :)
New to your channel and omg I've been on a binge whenever I each lunch, you're my go-to! I love these vlogs, please continue them as long as you're comfortable sharing bits of life, pregnancy, home decor, office organization, new food cravings/your and jake's go-to dinners, etc
I'm fearing summer in Italy because we've had the same weird hot days in April too 😢 but now we're back to cold and rain so also cherishing that. Just started watching this video but already excited to hear more from you two, truly admire your love for each other and the kindness you both exude! ✨️
"Living with your dreams without acting on them leads to unfulfillment and unhappiness and is harder than the journey there." This hit! And I'm 47. Love your videos. Your light shines bright.
I love watching your videos where you and Jake discuss your relationship journey and give out such amazing advice. I am in my early 20s and graduating uni next year and your videos provide me a lot of comfort in knowing that I will find a love just like yours. I also noticed the editing style has changed a bit, and so in love with it! As always all love to you Sissel 💚
Sissel, I would never get tired of telling you how proud i am of you. I've follow you for so many years and I've seen you grow and actually I think we are pretty similar, and we had and have similar ideas. In a way I feel connected to you, and see you so happy and finally in peace, makes me so happy. I wish I could watch you many more years, growing your family and everything you wish. You give us (your followers) peace and inspiration of a healthy way of living. I love you much, take care both, you and Jake!!
I really appreciate how honest you guys are. Many make videos like this one, and it seems so fake and like showing off, which I really dislike, but yours was so real. You guys are a really beautiful couple. All the best for both of you❤
This was such a relaxing video. So lovely seeing how open you both are with each other and your openness in sharing it with us. Love the positive vibes and inspiration for healthy relationships! :)
I think it's so nice to see and hear that there are more of these beautiful relationships out there! You are a really great couple and I really like you both! My boyfriend and I are also totally happy in our relationship. We've never really argued because we just talk about the issues that bother us directly and also avoid certain behaviors because we both know it could hurt the other person if I say or do that. It's such a nice and peaceful life when you can talk about everything without the other person getting upset or not wanting to understand your views at all. You get to know each other a little better every day the deeper the conversations are. We also go on dates together more often or show our love by allowing our partner to do things with his friends, driving him there and picking him up again EVEN if it's 4 o'clock in the morning so that he gets home safely, we support each other with our strengths because he has different strengths to me and I have different strengths to him, and so on. It's a shame to hear that others see a relationship as stressful or even a burden, because in my opinion it's not, rather the opposite. Isn't it nice to have someone who listens to you, takes good care of you when you're unwell (physically and mentally), you can share the household chores, you take turns paying for meals and you order two different dishes because you're sharing them anyway. It's the little things in life. 🥰
Jake is so sweet! Makes me wish I had a relationship like the one you guys have; one that makes each other a better person. I've always been single so I still don't know what it's like to share your life with someone else but I do hope to find the person I'd like to be with one day.
before you guys even mentioned about the gym, i was thinking jake looked like he’s been hitting the gym LOL so nice to see this type of content from you guys! i’m progressing farther into a serious relationship now and have been thinking a lot about what makes a healthy relationship, growing from unhealthy habits/cycles in relationships, etc… i think the pursuit of & entering into a healthy relationships can be difficult in the sense that a relationship may not start out healthy but you can work towards it if you have the willpower, compassion, and love to do so. basically, a healthy relationship is not hard but it’s not without effort either. sure, with the right person it’ll just make sense to put forth that effort, but it’s still work.. and it might present challenges that make you uncomfortable, which can seem hard to deal with at times
Don't mind me, just religiously watching sissel to manifest a relationship like this! Also, please get me as a godmother soon! I promise I'll give presents every holidays! 🥰🥰🥰
Hey Sissel , love the clarification on equality vs equity ❤ , kindly we'd love to see some advise on how to get over repetitive behavior and functional freeze mode when life is a mess..
this video couldn’t have come at a better time. thank you for sharing your life with us every week, you are truly such a kind and understanding soul ⭐️🩶🫶🏼
Loved hearing you guys talk about your relationship. It’s exactly how I feel in my marriage. The hard part of a relationship is the beginning: finding a common direction where life should go, learning to communicate … If you achieved that and it’s the right person, then love just gets easier. Hard are new life chapters, unknown situations, where you again have to find out if you‘re going in the right direction. But I feel with tackling each of these the relation gets even more easy and wonderful. Why do you think people say that married (vs relationship) life is hard? Where does that idea come from? Maybe you could talk about that in your next video 😊. I would be very interested in your opinion. In my opinion a relationship doesn’t change with marriage or only gets stronger, but that’s what movies always suggest.
All of your videos have high quality and soothing background music, which I love. How do you manage to make them so beautiful and tasteful? The content is excellent as well.
Very sweet video. It’s obvious you both value and respect each other. And that you are both willing to be vulnerable and honest enough to grow yourselves and each other. ♥️
Thank you for sharing your life with us, I've been watching you since 2021 and you have grown so much. I am always in awe of your candidness, positive outlook towards life and how you always strive to do your best. Wishing you and jake many many happy years ahead ❤
The will to change is an amazing book by Bell Hooks. Touches on the subject you both discussed about men not being able to express themselves. I literally cried in the intro. Quick read, check it out!
My girlfriend and I love this video and really relate to the personal growth needed to create a loving and lasting bond ❤️ thank you for sharing with us ✨
I really love when you two guys talk about things, I could listen for hours! And I find amazing the fact that I agree with most of your thoughts and values, I think it's because I'm too in a very happy and healthy relationship eheh 💚 can't wait for the next couple-talk video, any topic would be fine as long as Jake makes some jokes lol
You know what, we don’t have any issues or specific experiences related to our race. I’ve not personally experienced racism here, probably more something that would be xenophobia, but people are generally very nice. That’s my experience, but other people might feel differently. The only thing we feel in our relationship is the excitement of exploring each other’s cultures and learning how to create the perfect mix for our family. That journey has never been negative, only exciting and fulfilling 💚
@@sisselab Maybe it's more common now, but people used to tell me that people stare. Especially when an Korean man with a non-Asian. I hope things changed.

about the compliment section of this video, if an arab man did the dishes once in his life and gets complimented for it, he thinks he deserves an award and that his acts of service have gone above and beyond. i dont know about other men but if the relationship isn't healthy in a "modern way", then women aren't likely to thank her man for every little thing, esp if they take for granted what the woman does since it's "expected" of her
In my opinion, being in love is easy but choosing to love someone every day can be hard. Being in love and actively loving someone are two different things. Being in love is something we cannot control and comes easily. Actively loving someone is a choice that we must make everyday, despite how we feel about our partner that day. At the beginning of a relationship this is so easy to do but can be difficult some days when your partner gets on your nerves or you are having a bad day. Sometimes I want to put myself first, but being in a marriage means putting your partner or you+your partner first. It takes sacrifice to actively love your partner everyday. That is why people say marriage is hard. But the fulfillment of a healthy marriage is sooo worth it, ten times over. Having someone to share the daily struggles, happiness, etc with is so amazing and makes other aspects of my life so much easier, having someone by my side ❤
The ad Namesake Home & Furniture popped up while I was watching the video and it was for a baby crib/baby room décor and I immediately thought you might like it! It looked very much like your style and it's even funnier bc it was an ad played during watching you!! Lots of love!
this was such a beautiful video! It has inspired me to make content like this with my partner, we have been happy together for almost 5 years now! It is truly such an amazing process to grow alongside someone in life.. Thanks for sharing Sissel

Awww I was in Seoul when you filmed the vlog. It was such a beautiful day that day 😍 This video is so sweet, I hope I can get love like this someday. Much love to you two !
Sissel this video was beautiful! You guys truly look so happy ❤️❤️Also did you color grade this video? If so may I know how you did it I truly love the feel of this video!
I watch both you and Valeria! This was a good video with Jake! I recently got married too and also a mixed couple so this video resonated with me so much. :)
Before Jake even mentioned the gym I noticed how much bigger he looks!! I looooove seeing you two together and acknowledging the growth in each other :)
Such a lovely vlog! I would love to see you continue this series. One thing though, Sissel, please consider getting external mics that you can clip on your collars. It was a bit difficult to hear you. Anyway, take care! 💜💜💜
Jake looks so handsome before but right now I think because of Sissel who looks more handsome.. Dude you're with the right woman.. And Sissel looks more happier now. You both find each other at the right time I think. ^^ That kind of relationship ㅠㅠ
