Peter Cox is 68 YEARS OLD !!!!! Insane that he looks so good and can stand and perform a concert and sing still really well. 68! Nuts! I'm 51 and I was a child when "We close our eyes" was out in the 80s!.
Great band. I remember buying their debut record on cassette back in 1985. Besides their big hit We Close Our Eyes, Call Me, Missing Persons and Eye To Eye were great tracks too.
This song got me through my divorce. My damn ship was sinking and the upbeat of this song made me feel good for some reason. Even if the lyrics are depressing AF. 😂 I have played this song an unhealthy amount of times. I still listen to it, because I am kidding myself. I am stiff sad AF 🙃
Love Go West and have seen them many times loads when I lived in London in the 90s. Never really liked this track too much. Still in love would be one of my favourites (Album version with the sax intro)
I think he's losing his voice. I know it happens to them all eventually, especially the way Peter sings his guts out. Such a shame as I am and always will be a huge fan.
