Goan Cabbage Foogath | Gaon Cabbage Fugad | Cabbage Foogath Recipe | Best Cabbage Foogath Recipe
Ingredients:
Cabbage 500g
Onion 2 small chopped
Coconut Grated 2tbsp
Mustard 1tsp
Turmeric 1/2 tsp
Dry red chillies 2nos
Green chilli 1no
Garlic pods 4nos
Curry leaves 8-10nos
How to:
• Heat about 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan
• add mustard, let them splutter
• add Crushed garlic, Chilli slitted, Curry leaves and sauté for few seconds
• add chopped onions and sauté until lightly brown and translucent
• add shredded cabbage and give it a good mix
• add Turmeric, Grated coconut, Red chillies crushed and Salt to taste, don't add water at any stage
• cover & cook for about 10mins on low heat or until cabbage is cooked.
