I m also goan Saraswat. We never add onion, dhania seeds nd triphala in bangda curry. More over triphala is never ground, it is added after the curry boils nd that is sufficient for its taste nd odor.
Looks nice,never thought of putting tumeric leaf,sounds good to me,it's part of turmeric,I don't mind but I have to try when the leaves come out.thank you love fish curry as well as shrimps curry.feel like making tomorrow.
