We all need to take time to pray for this great country. America we love you

President Reagan was right! This is America's Choir! Thank you choir, orchestra and Director! This is our better Angels calling us to be the best that we can be!

I am Italian and belong to the Church. Despite my deep love for my Country, I cannot deny how much I love this song and what it says and represents. I feel I may sing, along with this beautiful Choir, "God bless America, my home, sweet home".

God bless Irving Berlin- a poor immigrant Jew, whose music became his testament of his love of America.

I always listen to this "theme of America" and it brings tears to my eyes. I am 62 and have lived through so many good and bad things but all I wish for before I die is that our country somehow stops screaming endlessly at each other and stands united as Americans. Empathy.....something so many in this country have forever lost.

I am not a Mormon or at all religious, but The Mormon Tabernacle Choir should be AMERICA's OFFICIAL CHOIR!! I thoroughly enjoy all of their music and presentations. I may not be religious, but religious tunes inspire me...always have since I was a child in church. I have always loved the melodies, never notice much about the lyrics, but the music is most inspiring to me. Thank you to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Orchestra and all those connected with them for making such beautiful music!!!

This music makes me proud to be an American.

It was President Reagan who first referred to the Choir as “America’s Choir.”

There's the type of music that gives you a temporary adrenaline rush. Then there's the type of music that lifts you, makes the non religious believe in God, and brings tears to your eyes. This music definitely falls into the latter group. What a beautiful performance!

Dear Lord, Thank you for giving us the very talented Irving Berlin.

During these trying times with the covid-19, I found it very comforting to hear this beautiful rendition of "God Bless America". It reminds me that our country, under God, has been through very trying times in the past, and that with belief in our country and God, we WIll make it through this. I find it very impressive that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the LDS church cares more about sharing beauty and goodness than making money. My proof? They offer their recordings to listen for free all day long, every day. Sure, there's a link to buy their songs and albums if you want but if you don't want to buy them THEY provide them for free for you to enjoy. What other artist/organization does that? I bet there are very, very few.

I really do prefer this piece to be performed the way Kate Smith did it on her radio program in . . .1939 I believe it was. I also believe the American National Anthem should be sung with more if not ALL the verses. But then, that's how I feel about all music.
