Old MTG is so beautiful compared to todays cards.

I love videos like this, especially after a long week like I've had where my Mom was in the hospital and work was stressful in the times I was able to get hours. Just a nice relaxing video going through some amazing history.

Rudy you’ve forgot more Magic than I could ever remember, but thank you for giving the brief rundown on how you store your cards & giving us insight on how to protect them while in binders. As the first 3 minutes of this are going I’m thinking to myself “wow I can’t believe he puts those in a D ring.” Giggity I’m personally a ringless binder guy but it’s different strokes for different folks. Giggity.

Rudy is running an experiment to weigh his impact. What happened is it being an undeniable bear market for vintage gives a base line to see his impact if he keeps doing this. Which i seriously hope he does. Vintage is the shit.

I find it so crazy that an alpha lightning bolt; something that we all had at least a few of is worth over a grand atm.

Rudy as some general feedback your video quality is pretty much always on-point.

I also keep my binders standing, even with dust protectors on top as the 9-pocket pages are open on the top side. Just a cover of cut cardboard that folds around the top of a binder to prevent dust or whatever entering the pockets.

I love seeing your old collectio. Would be cool to see a video of you displaying all your duals

I tried building an all alpha/beta commander deck (sans commander of course). I got 20-30 cards in but couldn't track down more cheap AB's.

Haven't played MTG in a long time but from even when I was young the card I always collected was dark ritual and now I have little over 10k dark ritual in total and around 1k of them are from alpha and beta so always fun to see the old collection you have. But I do wonder how many dark rituals do you have?
