I have had these and broke a pair with me being stupid. Don't cut anything but the thin vent part that connects to the model piece. I broke mine cutting the sprue itself. I have since bought a second pair to replace them and I am much more careful. Recommend a second cheaper set for any heavy duty cutting. Godhand pn-125 is cheap and sharp as heck. Great backup for these.

I was thinking about the god hand but decided on the TAMIYA NO.123. They are not as good as the god hand but so much more then the army painter ones and cost less then the GW ones. tamiya ones have a spring but not the adjustable stops. The best thing I bought was the photo etch saw blades they are 0.1mm thick. they are so useful for slicing knee joints.

@@lastlightcreative6537TAMIYA Photo-Etched Craft Saw, TAM74094 and you need a olfa style blade handle or Tamiya - Model Knife 74040950. this is also like the 5th time trying to comment here it seems they don't like direct links or even mentioning the online store that starts with an A. They also sell other photoetch saws but they are more for panel Scribing, I might still try them because they have curved and hooked saw blades. There are also micro chisels witch is great if you need to carve off stuff like chest eagles. Trumpeter makes them in 1x1mm size and diamond and round shapes.
