Well, while he realizes Kratos is probably the only one who could kill Gaia, he still masively underestimates him with all the shittalking and hollow threats, which Kratos not even evades but retaliates. Like calling him a pest - okay, he's clearly hurting your exterior enough for you to notice, yet you continue to think it's just a game and you can just smash him, even though Kratos could just hold his fingers at 1:04. This might be a good time to rethink his strategy and maybe send Kratos flying miles away or smth, instead he tries the same a few more times and proceeds with eating him. Like c'mon, you clearly not the brightest titan in a room of just one titan, but if he could hurt your nails and skin, "eating" him is a straight suicide.
@@TrueDeathblacK ehhh, he did contain almost an entire pantheon of gods (minus zeus) in his stomache at one point, and I cant say if he knew that kratos had the blade of olympus on him, otherwise if he did, why would he challenge kratos at all?
He meant that Kratos was the only one who had no qualms about killing her. Since the Olympians, despite everything, had decided to let most of the Titans live, even Zeus himself was going to send her back to Tartarus.

Best Part of rewatching this is the fact chronos still had the Entire temple of pandora on his back. You know, just the Place where you spent 2/3 of the ENTIRE FIRST GAME ON? Insane when i think about how small it looks here on his back and how much time kratos spent there to get the box first time around.
adir999 Then again, Kratos did pry open Cronos' fingers when the latter tried to crush the former, so he might have guessed that Kratos would do the same with his teeth (perhaps even rip them out/break them). Because of this, he might have relied on his digestive system. Too bad for him that still turned out badly.

@@rancor4513 no Kronos is a titan. Titans are not gods but are of somewhat equal strength. And as for him not dying that's not true. In the game whenever Kratos kills a titan such as Lava Titan, Kronos, Gaia, etc, he always uses the Blade of Olympus. My point is whenever Kratos kills a god he just weakens them then kills them. But he always used the blade on Titans. This means that using normal weapons you can't ever kill a titan as they are indeed immortal but to a greater extent than the gods as only the blade can kill them where as with gods its like I said just weaken them and they're done for.

Eating harmless kids is one thing. Swallowing a guy with a sharp lethal weapon is another. Thats as dumb as a human eating a sea urchin and not expecting to get stung.
This video is old but I just wanted to appreciate how he uses multiple weapons and moves instead of spamming the "grab run with enemies" move like most chaos difficulty playthroughs.
I do think if Cronos was freed of the chains it would have been a hell of a time for Kratos to win. Cronos didnt have any of his powers fighting Kratos here

3 times the size? Cronos surely is about 1300 metres tall and Atlas at least a mile up to maybe 2000 metres. Kratos is 2 metres tall and is compared to Cronos what an ant is compared to a human. SNK is full of giant humanoids up 120 metres max as of now. Colossal is 60 metres.
