@@sunwukong1754 No Its Norse ,maybe there's some Greek thrown in here and there to reference Kratos being Greek but Most of it is Norse I'm pretty sure , Bear Mcreary made sure to find a Norse Orchestra too if you watch the GOW 2018 Raising Kratos Documentry
You know that the lyrcis in Greek are literally saying "fuck him up, fuck him up, Kratos fuck him up, end it, how incredible etc"? The music is epic as Hell but the lyrics...
@@ΓιάννηςΝικολάου-η5ω bruh thats weird because in god of war from 2018 developers were trying their best to make songs in the background sound like ancient old norse language even though no one speaks it no more and noone would notice its wrong but they still cared about making the lyrics serious
@Русский Киборг what do you exactly mean by "no name gods"? I'm not saying you have to like god of war 4, but those are real gods like poseidon, hades, zeus etc
Русский Киборг I kinda agree tbh I played almost all the GOW series except 3 and ascension (but I have watched gameplay of them) and 4 it’s nothing like the other ones,it’s far more boring and it just feels like any other RPG game while the old series are kickass as shit and I don’t even need to explain myself for it because it is a fact
I have live as a warrior I have died as a god Having suffered the ultimate sacrifice I have been denied released I will defeat olympus I will have my revenge
My son loves the God of War franchise and he suggested me that i should to listen to this and I'm amazed to hear such an epic music and i guess i did a pretty good job by buying him the first God of War game few years ago. I don't understand how gamers feel about this game but i can see a lot of people love this game and are passionate about it.
sony gave a big budget for god of war series, especially god of war 2/3 after how successful gow1 was. Soundtrack was always gaming industry leading for god of war games.
This is my wish truly i despratly wanna hear the greek music even if it is just once in norse if they use it at the right time it would be the best moment in gaming history and would surpass getting the blades back
I want to see Kratos meet Odin and Thor; they have a short brawl which launches them straight into Hel, where Zeus joins in. 2:04 Then the real fight begins.
@@teamgohadouken9713 this is Kratos old from teen form defeated Zeus Poseidon Hermes Hades Ares and helios do you remember that öld mourning and deimgod remember Zeus defeated all things ti People when we defaded the current state of new versiyon of the killed baldur even beats odin
This is just epic. I can imagine kratos and zeus fighting each other . This is the best boss fight in the series. Fight is so freaking good . Kratos using every move to destroy the king of olympus. And who can forget where kratos and zeus are fighting for the blade of olympus with those jaw breaking animations and quick time events. This is something that god of war 4 didnt have. God of war trilogy was once in a lifetime experience. Get ready ragnarok is coming
Tho gow 2018 is my second fav in series, i hate the fact that 2018 had only 4 good fights. ( the dragon, magni and modi, baldur in the beginning of the game and baldur at the end)
@@bananaskin8395 Being completely honest, I feel like some of GOW III's fights are definately more flash>substance or vice versa. Like Cronos and Poseidon are super simple in terms of actual gameplay, while Hercules while having solid mechanics has a lackluster visual design. Skorpius had a pretty interesting gimmick, but the fight was just too short for it to be properly fleshed out. Zeus and Hades are the only ones in the game that really blend fantastic cinematics with stellar gameplay without sacrificing one for the other.
I have been with Kratos since I was a child. I have always had issues with anger, and Kratos showed me what that anger can do if its not tempered. It made me always never want to raise my hands to someone and detest the idea of Violence. But there were days I did wish I could rip through mountains and monsters just as he had, not because I wanted power but because I wanted all my emotions to just explode out of me. Eventually I found my outlet, hope you find yours too folks.
You clearly didn't understand anything about Kratos. He killed his family not because of anger but he let himself lose his humanity and turning into a killing machine then he got a wake-up call after killing his family. There is a difference between hate and anger. He wanted revenge thinking it will free him for his self guilt. He was angry at himself for taking stupid decisions and he wanted to took it on Olympian gods.
@@Learnfromtheworst.-gr3zi Again you didn't read my comment and you didn't play the games. I have never stated Kratos' sins were a result of his anger, but his anger was a driving force behind a lot of his mistakes.
This theme screams: "There's nothing else beyond Zeus, this is your last definitive battle, now end this tragedy for the peace of Kratos and the world!"
"All Other Gods Have Fallen..." "Only 2 Still Stand Among Them..." "A Child Whos Hate Still stands strong as a Stone"" "A Father whos Fear doesent Even Spare His Own"
Krato's: YOU WILL NOT SEE A END OF THIS DAY I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE Me: Omfg this is epic *At the end of the game* Me: *Press's random buttons hopefully to win the Zeus fight*
Not really. Titan mode is the hardest bit and there’s a certain set of moves you gotta do. For example, avoid the lightning and use the Hercules hand things in stage 1, just defend till Gaia arrives in stage 2 and focus Zeus’s bodies with the blades of Chaos during the third stage.
@@MahdiMiaSanMia wow I defeated him on Titan mode and I swear I lost my shit when he was spawning clones, I couldn’t stress how bad it was to reflect his attacks then save my rage of Sparta then use the blade of Olympus at the end
Honestly, once they've covered a few more pantheons in the series than just Greek and Norse... I dunno about you, but I would *play the shit* out of a "God of War: Total War"
@@FunnyRedemption There is no spectacle to the fight at all. You just keep smacking odin till his health bar is gone then watch a short cutscene and then do the same thing again and he's dead. Now compare that to Baldur's fight from the previous game and you'll see what I am talking about. Baldur's fight is perfect.
@@excalibur2596 You literally do the same thing to Zeus lmao. You just attack him until he gets stunned so you can perform a grab attack. Then the location changes and repeats the same process. Baldur is Baldur. Odin is an old man . What did you expect him to do? Jump around doing backflips etc? The only difference between Baldur's and Odin's boss fight is the different attacks they have. Baldur would've fought normally without going all berserk on Kratos if he wasn't searching for someone to make him feel something. It was already obvious Odin wouldn't start punching and kicking the hell out of Kratos like Thor or Baldur and instead use magic and other things.
When Odin will show himself, it will be great: We will finally be able to put a face on a name. I have the feeling that we will battle Thor then Odin; and when we will battle Thor, i want him to gain momentarily and say: "Give up, if it isn't me, The All Father will send someone else!" And then Kratos will say:"Really? Who would Odin send after You?" just like in Batman The Dark Knight Return.
the adrenaline rush i had fighting zeus for the first time listening to this will never be the same. i grew up on god of war i was legit 4 or 5 beating my very first game which just so happened to be this and i gotta say it wasn’t easy. but god i love this game and i’d do anything to replay it to feel that rush and excitement
Being honest, Thor will probably kill Kratos in God Of War Ragnarok. Kratos's ark really has nowhere else to go from GOW 18' and Thor being built up as an unstoppable force in that game I think it would be a waste and let down to see Kratos kill Thor. Thor needs to kill Kratos to establish that he's powerful and to finally end Kratos before his story is ruined by another pointless god killing. If anyone has to kill Thor it should be Autreus so we start his story ark as his own character and step away from the protection of being Kratos's son and becoming his own character, ironically it would sort of be like him growing up.
@@jeremiahcrain7023 how? Kratos is cursed to walk the earth till the end, He has hades soul, he has an ounce of the power of hope inside him, cory even stated he was holding back in gow 2018 And as a god ages he/she becomes even stronger so the kratos we know now is even powerful. Plus thor was way below zeus level.
@@cromugus I'm not talking gameplay wise but narrative wise. Kratos has no where else to go, his story had a perfect ending in GOW 18' and another senseless god killing rampage would ruin that. Killing off Kratos would not only be setting free the character before he is ruined by living to long or killing another god but would also set up Autreus to be the main protagonist moving forward. From an actual battle view point then I'll give you this. Hades's soul doesn't make him immortal, like how killing the god of death Doesn't mean your immune to death which we've seen multiple times he isn't immune to death. The power of hope was spread out to the remaining people of Greece when Kratos stabbed himself at the end of GOW 3. Kratos was holding back? I'm pretty sure he wasn't holding back when Balder was beating the shit out of him at his own house. Also Thor is superior to Balder who was able to match Kratos in power and since Kratos didn't get physically stronger in GOW 18' he still compares to Balder.
@@jeremiahcrain7023 uhh the directors and writers already said he was holding back if you also read the comics which takes place pre gow 2018 the reason why kratos spends countless times in the wood is because he is containing his rage which he had done. He has an ounce of hope Cory Barlog himself stated, he was already also cursed to walk the earth till the end thats why he didnt die when he attempted suicide in gow 3 and he can heal himself with his will like the time he fought baldur, baldur was protected by a spell that even the allfather couldnt alter without that spell you saw him go down, Leviathan axe was made to counter mjolnir, it was also described that its the same level as the hammer, the blades of chaos are way beyond that since the power of the blades comes from kratos' rage, nowhere else to go? Barlog also stated there are so many arks left for kratos, you see the director himself stated that you're on a perspective of only playing and viewing not writing the game or directing you cant just say kratos has no ark left you dont even have the plans or writings for the next games or you might not even read the novels yet, plus kratos can go by without killing a god he did that gow 2 if you think perseus counts well he's not even a god level one kratos killed him easily. Setting the character free bruh he's already happy living he has his son and people around who could help him brok, sindri, mimir.
2:00 , I really wanted this to play in ragnarok as a callback, maybe in some sequence where Kratos gets so pissed that you have unlimited rage for a battle against another god or something
If someone had told me this was some orchestra masterpiece from the classical era without having played the game I would completely believe them. It is a theme that is so good its almost hard to believe it took humans this long to come up with it.

To be fair, we had 3 games of build up for Zeus’s fight, whereas with ragnarok we only had 2 for Odin, and he wasn’t even present in the first to actually give us any impressions.
Back when the developers wanted to give people a setting where we could duke it out with Greek monsters and gods. Now we're stuck watching an inferior version of The Last of Us.
Odin's design is meant to deceive you as to his power. However I agree, but from a story perspective, it works. Odin is like this sniveling little mob boss, and is a total gaslighter. So yeah, he's not buff like Zeus, since he never needed to assert his power, he had bruisers like Thor and Baldur to do that.
