GOD TIER speed build - GR130 LOD Nova Necro Diablo 3 Season 31 

Awesome, I had already started farming this setup using my AoV Crusader when I saw those 150 clears on Necro. Thanks Filthy! :)

Some extra tips for this build: - Get at least 1.67 APS and make sure it is less than 2.02 with frenzy shrine. (more than that reduces the amount of novas cast per second) - Shield pylons: When you don't lose health, your Iron Rose stacks will fall off. Manually cast 10 novas during shield to keep them up. - Speed pylons: This can decrease your damage by around 20% if your AS surpasses the 2.02 breakpoint. Avoid while pushing, only useful on boss. - GR 150 with less than 2k paragon: If you struggle to stay alive, add around 2k vitality in Paragon. You should only attack on physical CoE rotation, then dash around and gather mobs for the next rotation. Save any pylon you find at around 70% progression. When boss spawns, stack stricken for a minute or two before taking the pylon.

Hey Filthy, cheers for the guide, this just what I needed! I know what you mean about first build regret … I wandered back in after bailing on S29 and skipping S30 (regrettably, I didn’t know the Altar & Visions are built in plus Soul Shards, that would’ve been nicely OP) and didn’t really do any research on powerful builds … I saw that Tal Rasha was the starter set so I went with that and it got me through most of the season journey and maybe a third of the altar, but I was just about to start grinding for gear in earnest when I had a random thought to check the tier list on Maxroll Come find out that Necro is king, and I’d just built a very ghetto LoD Nova build for GR45 No Set … now I’m thinking I need to pivot to this build - good thing I didn’t waste much time (or any augments!?!) leveling gems yet, huh?

started this a couple of days ago in SSF, first GR 70 primal was a perfectly rolled funery pick lmao, its so damn strong.

A friend started with this build after some Rathma (he wasn't happy with that), now we can do even 150 in 4-player. I built one a bit later and ran a 140 solo with it easily. I use Trag'Oul helm now because it is ancient with good stats, but will change it later. For Helm Leorics Crown is a good alternative. In a High GR party, Frailty Early Grave can be used, the enemy dies at 18% but it needs to be applied manually and costs 10% of life so if you overdo it, you practically kill yourself :D For nonseason 2 item changes: Ice Climber is needed to negate Stone Gauntlets and Kreml's Buff Bracer for Crowd Control Affect Immunity (both have been taken care of in the Altar in Season) - I will be always salty about the lack of Altar in NS...

Hey Filthy! I highly recommend getting 44% CDR. You can achieve it with a diamond in Leorics, 8% on the shoulders, and 10% on the weapon. This will allow you to activate bone armor every 5.5 seconds so you can do 2 activations per 12 second cycle.

Havent really been digging this season so far. Didnt like the inarius Nova at all. But Will absolutely give this a Try.

Should I put any pts into Vit? Seems that I am dying way to much! 1600 paragon, same stats as you pretty much... everything is aug'd... i just dont know! Any suggestions?

Hm. Maybe u mentioned why u have Dex and Str gems in ur gear, but if u did I missed it. I'd think Vit or Int, depending on survival needs, right?

best build by far for push and xp hands down, the rest can be done with monk :-)

Do you think Trag'Oul Death Nova is still viable?

Do you think LoD nova will be easier to push than Bone Spear? My Lod nova gear isn't that amazing but some guardian or juggernauts elites take FOREVER. I believe it would have been faster on bone spear... Not only that but I think the visual clutter from nova end up making me not see so many of the enemy skills.

I struggle with toughness with this build, I keep dying so I play the trag ouls set for now

Just started running the LOD Necro got a GR 1:30 in a minute and 40 seconds. I think for hard-core you’re better off with a Lorex crown.

The reason LoD Nova outperforming Bone Spear when the numbers look like it should be the opposite is because the Maxroll numbers are wrong. They completely skip Iron Rose which actually is a dual multiplier, not only the 600% but it's frame cast at least gets doubled from manual casts so it's more like a 12x. So by the time you calculate that vs your 'potential' multiple hits on Poison Bone spear (reality is you get no where close to 20 stacks average Rift and especially RG unless Dream Rift) it's not even close.

Im playing hc can I change to be tankier with that build. Played trag oul before and was pretty tanks bc of guardians set

I don't get it. Why is Troug ouls corroded fang in the cube, when grim Scythe is not used at all? Do I miss something?

How good is this compared to the other Nova builds? I like this because we can use Stewarts

I’ve only really gone deep into Rathma. Could someone ELI5 differences between Trag’Oul, Inarius, and LOD Death Nova builds? I’ve taken LOD to 130 but idk what would be different if I invested into one of the set builds

Blood is Power instead of spreading malediction should help with that cooldown issue. 400% damage > like 30% at best. Also Leorics with Diamond could be easier as well. Yeah Idk what's up with Bone spear, it's pretty max fishy I guess compared to the consistency and ease of LoD Nova. I started with LoD nova and felt it was too slow then went bone spear and for 90-100 speeds it was much better but I guess that's just a gearing thing even tho I had a lot of Ancients and LoD Nova looks to take over..most 150's by a large margin so yeah looks like after my 90-100 speeds I'll switch back ha, thank you for showing this!

why do you use blood nova when this spell is automatically given by item??

Okay I take back what I said about Bone spear 90-100 speeds like why do that when you can jump to 110's in the same time even less sometimes lol holy crap..yeah well least I only put one augment on Bonespear set and at least it's still king for T16 / EN

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think you even have to have Blood Nova on your bar, so you can sneak in another skill. I believe that unlike Wizard, Iron Rose does not require you to actually have the skill equipped.

One thing I learned the hard way. DO NOT PICK UP BOTH THE CDR AND THE DEFENSE PYLONS AT THE SAME TIME! You cannot keep the death nova stacks because you can't lose health manually due to CDR pylon and you can't lose health directly due to defense pylon, resulting in a huge loss of dps.

Yep, all build are joke compared this..i can imagine this build on full potential gear and paragon 5k+... probably 1 min 150s..
