Zip ties are used for boning in ren faire outfits too. Or at least some of them…my mother who is/was a professional seamstress used them for her outfits and I used them for some of my corsets. They’re lighter and usually come out of their pack straighter than boning that you buy at a store. Those usually come coiled. (Plus you can add more zip ties to give more straight/strength. Or to seriously show the curves you want shown.) I’m glad zip ties are shown here. It’s cool to see they can be used for details like this. Also, I think he used them to create her crown/halo.
Fascinating; I was impressed with the use of paper as a stabilizer for the tulle and then the grid for the positioning of the black rhinestones. I giggled when she was helping you hold her stays as you threaded them. When you added the veil, she shifted from pagan to almost western religion. It goes without saying, you've created another masterpiece.

There are so many who create clothes for people and they all claim that their work is fine. In my opinion, the works of this master are what delicate and painstaking work is. I hope to continue to see more such beautiful creations.
Oh and the design on her body ghe nipple covers and the pelvic area stones are done so tastefully!! Everything is done with thought and impeccable taste. I would own this doll 100% if I could. A joy to watch this process of a master craftsman.

Im also a doll gown maker and I swear tulle is one of the hardest fabric to sew! It really requires a lot of expertise to manipulate those kinds of fabic, but Nigel!?!?? You showed us your amazing skill especially for the bodice part, I literally gasped how you sew that very small detail! You just blow my mind with your gift design, not only in creating a doll and a wardrobe but in video presentation. It’s like a movie with theme, a beautiful music soundtrack, exquisite design for the leading lady, drama and tension and an climax ending that can not be forgotten and I will present you an award for best dress by a designer. Can we just acknowledge the skill it takes to make clothes look that good and times it by 10 bc it's that much harder to do with tiny clothes!!! Excellent job!!!!

@@adelheidhueg9011 Ja das stimmt, ich komme ja aus Rostock. Gut erraten. Bei Bühnenkostüme ist längst fertig, die Vorstellungen " tell Tell" läuft es super. Im Moment nähe ich viele Kostüme für Fashion Dance Show, es wird im Herbst stattfinden. Hoffentlich muss ich fertig machen. 😊👍🏻
