Godin Multiac Steel Duet Ambiance - The Ultimate Electro Acoustic For Stage & Recording

Bought a Godin Session Tripleplay from you a couple of years back, my second Godin guitar. Their quality is outstanding, their innovative approach should be applauded and it's great to see someone representing a quality company with such honest enthusiasm.

It is also convenient to keep the guitar perfectly tuned when doing demos of any kind... :)

Nice guitar. Of course we love Godin here in Canada - generally known as well made, fairly price guitars. I also love double cut electric guitars, could we see some demos of the Les Paul Junior and light blue guitar on the wall behind you?

Very impressed with this guitar, especially when I heard Doyle Dykes playing it. I don't see it advertised, even on the Godin site though. How difficult is it to get and what sort of cost ?..... get the feeling I might need to sell my Gretsch CGP!

I have the nylon string ambience. It has four mic shapes as well and blending abilities with piezo. I find I just have one mic setting I use always. It's a fantastic guitar with massive possibilities. If the steel is the same I'm very curious, but a steel string is such a diff beast I'll have to try and see.

That digital "ambience" sound is similar to, but not quite the same as, the "acoustic resonance" function of the Boss AD10 pedal (or similar). That's designed to make piezo pickups in electro-acoustic guitars sound more natural. Makes me wonder if it's similar tech. Guess we'll never know!

Would this guitar be good for percussive playing like the fender acoustasonic?

neck is bigger than the spectrum at 11/16 right ? Different controls. So can I get acoustic sounds with nylong strings same as the Duet Amb or spectrum ?

I' m told by dealer in Kuala Lampur the spectrum is discontinued and use the multiac steel now. But they are not the same in controls right. Can I quickly turn off the lipstick with one quick button while playing ? What else. ? Can I get the duet nylon sound with nylong strings on this ?

I was first interested in the diversity of the A6, but does the A6 piezo tone hold up to the acoustic of the Multiac? I’m afraid I might not be happy with its acoustic tone… I guess it can’t be as full as the Multiac Duet???
