Godox AD300 Pro + AD-S85 Parabolic Softbox Review | is it the best setup ? 

Very well done. This is the first video I have seen comparing the light output of the internal beauty dish modifiers for the AD-S85. Great, right to the point info! Thanks for doing this.

It does not make sense to use the AD-S85 with the Godox S Bracket, because the S Bracket is meant to be used with modifiers that have a Bowens mount. The AD-S85 does not have a Bowens mount, it has a Godox mount that connects directly to the AD 300 and not the the Bracket. Also the AD-S85 being relatively large it puts a strain on the AD 300 itself. Godox recommends using the AD-S85 with the larger AD 400. For the AD 300 the smaller but otherwise identical AD-S65 is more appropriate.

Is there a setting that would keep the flash from firing? Added new bulbs and the flash beeps but does not fire. It has fired in the past. Happening on two 300 pros.

have you tried the S85 using the ad300 or 400 & the bracket that attaches direct from light to Light stand ? Ive heard others say the bracket will not hold the weight of the S85 & it slips down all the time ?
