@@nashtravelandlifestyle i buy sheets from either lee or rosco. Then just cut them up. I like using 2 together. Straw yellow 162 and bastard amber. Think 90s playboy.
I just bought a V1 and an Xpro trigger, and I was thinking of buying 2 860's to round out my setup. After looking at your slide show and seeing the difference in light spread between the two, I can really see the justification of paying a little more and just getting 2 more V1's instead. The difference is really noticeable, imo.
Wow! Thank you! Im saving this video, the illustration comparison at the end of the video is awesome to gain a better understanding of light modification
If I do not buy Godox V1 then I do not know Godox AK-R1kit. Yes, this kit is perfect for v1 plus Godox S-R1 adapter for square head flash then you can use this kit. I love this kit. Thank you Strobepro.
Thanks for the video man. I literally was unaware about removing the bounce card from the holder and was searching for a video to unmount it and yours was very helpful... 😭❣️
Hi Jesse! Thank you for this video! Can we create own slides and insert them into the gel holder in lieu of the porjector kit? PS I love the jazz music during the slide show! Classy. The music also helps to track the various assessories.
Hey Kevin, Unfortunately, you will either need a focusing optic or to greatly increase the distance between your flash and the slide for it to be visible on any surface, so the projector kit is probably your most practical option.
Amazing comparison. Thank you Jessie for your effort. My Question is: Does the ML-CS1625 a difference to the diffuser or the dome on a V1? Maybe you know?!
The accessory kit is great, however, the magnets are not up to the task of shooting in an environment like weddings or events where it's fast-paced and things get bumped around ( off). I still resort to trusty old 1" gorilla tape to make sure any particular accessory stays in place on the flash.
Is it possible to use the bounce card along with the dome diffuser? Im doing macro photography and I am using Godox V1. I am just wondering why am I not getting enough light for my subject despite its strong power. So Im thinking if its because the head is not able to point onto the subject itself.
It's possible. Though, the V1 is actually quite weak. The guide number is only about 90 compared to say 190 on the Godox TT685. A real shame. I have both and full power is day and night between them. So I would only get the TT685 and the accessory head he shows here, or rather.. get two TT685 for less than one V1, and have a total of three TT685's. A shame though.. but I read somewhere that the roundness of the V1 is a big factor in the light output being weak. It's more beautiful, but it comes with a (to me) too high price. So now I just use my €250 V1 for its model light in Teams Meetings.. /:
Hi Joseph, Sorry for the late reply. I've been meaning to compare this grid to some of our honeycomb grids since Godox doesn't list a specification for it. It appears to be a 40-degree.
