Shin being from the demon world is kinda a full circle moment because when he’s first introduced in the buu saga he looks like a demon with that devious creepy grin he does. 😂

07:36 it's not the gravity giving him issues, they say it's the very dense air caused by the volcanos. It's probably like Jupiter or Venus atmosphere but way worse yet transparent to affect the movement of a being like Goku even weakened like that.
Glorio seems like a demon realm cop to me. The demon merchant seemed scared when he saw the gun as if Glorio has some authority or knows people. I think we are overthinking it tho like with the grand priest hahaha
Most demons seem to be using melee weapons, and I'm pretty sure there only showed like 3 other ships in town. Maybe " higher" tech is a sign of a higher demon layer and by extension a sign of a higher tier demon
The hamburgers in the Third Demon Realm remind me of the black bun burger that Burger King tried to do in like... I don't remember the exact year, but it was approaching Halloween in a year before Covid-19 and things like that, and Burger King tried to promote that black bun burger in conmercials and things like that, but anyway, that is what those Third Demon Realm hamburgers remind me of.
Moro wasn’t a demon tho he was just a magical being - foreshadowing Mira/Towa/Salsa/Putine, ect would be better! Even foreshadowing Hearts would be cooler than trying to make Moro a demon

I almost expect that he (Glorio) has ulterior motives, but that he may not necessarily be bad himself as much as currently loyally going along with what his King commands. Could be wrong and he could screw them over, but i could see him possibly helping them out after a face turn type thing.

Shin being from the Demon Realm feels like confirmation to me that there are still multiple Demon Realms. 1 per Cardinal Universe. As if there was only 1 Demon Realm, what would determine what Universe a Kai goes too.
It was said that many Glind (Kai) “used” to live in the 2nd realm. At some point most of them left their realm. Those that did leave are now assigned to universes and sections of a universe. King Kai, East Kai, West Kai, etc…oversee their own quadrants. Which is most likely the same for the Namekians. They originated from another realm. Probably, the first realm because that’s where the dragon balls are located.
I feel like Glorio is going to be one of those characters that at the end of an episode will be “ha! I betrayed you I’m actually evil” then ten minutes into the next episode he’ll be all “our time together has changed my worldview, I’m going to betray my master now”

My theory, about Glorio: I will theorize that he and the shin sister are working together. It will be like in dragon ball heroes, as towa and Mira. She’s a scientist and wants to collect some dna from Goku? So she could create the new Mira. Mira wants power so he can rule the demon realm and maybe get revenge from the shin’s race! I think it’s not a coincidence they just look really alike Towa and Mira…
Glorio reminds me of Mira from Xenoverse 2 so much. It wouldn’t surprise me if he has a hidden form and transform into it and end up looking like Mira but instead his name will stay Glorio
I think Glorio might be trying to fill them out as well. Remember, Glorio doesn't know The Supreme Kai or Goku and the others. That reminds me of when future trunks came to see Goku the first time and wanted to only talk to him and not the others. He was going off what future Bulma (his mom) told him.

Hopefully Toriama was cooking with this one (RIP) but does this mean that all Kia's are from the demon realm then? Considering all the Kai's look basically the same from a physiological perspective. It seems a bit odd that both the kia's and Namekians are both from demon realm. Considering the Kia's are apparently born from a tree and in the super hero movie our favorite green boy gets a tree logo on his back when transforming seems too convenient to not be connected.
I feel many people get enchanted by the visuals and the fact it’s the last Akira Toriyama’s work, to not see we are going back to a dragon ball adventure approach (like on GT’s). While ignoring all the lore and character development constructed as the story develops in Z and Super. Such a shame to go back and not incorporate the narrative structure and arch developments the story constructed, while implementing its new ones.
Could you elaborate on that more? It seems like it's directly building on top of the lore and developments from the chronologically preceding arc (Buu saga). Are you referring to the lack of involvement (so far) from Gohan, Goten, and Trunks, who were all major characters previously? Or what is it?

In the movies that came like battle of Gods, resurrection F and the super anime we created a new lore of 12 universes. Angels, gods of destruction and the Kai’s we new. She met Zeno and the father of angels. We advanced in the story and created this universe and interactions, to just go back and start again before that to a story more resembling the adventure fighting manga of Dragon ball, than keep the same tone and story lines of Z. That’s my issue, I hope I explained better

I guess personally I have the expectation that this series will provide insight into the higher levels of beings as well as the realms beyond universe and how all that connects. I'm also expecting that the events in Daima will connect to a future arc in Super. It's still early. We're only 3 episodes in. I would say I share your feelings, but for me it's too early to call that. If Daima ends and it didn't really help us gain any insight, and doesn't connect to Super at all, or if it turns into a series with no end in sight that's a complete offshoot unrelated to Super, then I'll be disappointed. As it is right now, I do expect/hope they'll tie things together.

Since since Z, dragon ball has change from that perspective and is not the type of story we are used to or looking for with the type of narrative we are used to.
I think we will see the following: The 1st Level of the Demon Relm- We will see more Dragonball elements The 2nd Level of the Demon Relm- We will see more Dragonball Z elements The 3rd Level of the Demon Relm-We will see more GT and newer elements from Toriyama.
Glorio appears to be the same race as Gas and the Heeters. Originally I thought he might be a former angel like Merus. But he has pointy ears. However,I still haven't dropped that theory since we saw in episode 3 when Shin altered Gokus ears when Warp asked to show their ears.
The way that seal of light looks it's like it's preventing a giant trapped creature to escape all the way from the first demon realm. Could also be the "fast travel" of this jrpg between demon worlds.
my theory is that daima will take part in 3 Arcs: Arc 1: takes place mostly in the lowest, 3rd demon world, the style will be based on original Dragon Ball. Arc 2: takes place mostly in the 2nd demon world, the style will be based more on Dragon Ball Z power levels, transformations and easter eggs refer to DBZ. Arc 3: takes place in mostly the 1st demon world (demon king world) and the style will be based on Dragon Ball Super, with very strong enemies and major reveals also.
Theory for episode 4: With their plane gone, maybe they will try and travel on foot, encountering bandits and fighting then, and then they encounter Panzi, the Masked Majin, and based on some photos, she is helping fix something with Bulma, so she might be a smart character who can create and build planes and other machinery, so they meet her as the Masked Majin while traveling through the Third Demon Realm and then she has a plane or something, but it doesn't work and she was trying to repair it and Glorio and Goku and Supreme Kai help with it, and then they all have to fight off bandits and then Bulma and Vegeta arrive in the fixed Supreme Kai ship and Bulma and Panzi work on the ships/planes together, and it will turn out that time flows differently in the Demon Realm which is why Bulma and Vegeta came there at that time.
6:19. Ok so hear me out on this one. I get it even the Supreme kias have white hair. But. What if Glorio is somewhat of an angel of the demon real. And he is using ultra instinct. But in a way that goku and vegeta don't understand yet. And maybe they call it something different. I mean it's a stretch. But what if right. Like each king has its own angelic demon. And Glorio is just one of them
If you think that in Super, balance is something that comes up (God's of Destruction and Creation), I wonder if Glinds are the name for Makaioshin before they are granted Kai status, if at all. Shin is probably a Glind that showed real promise and was granted training to be a Supreme Kai, leading Degesu and Arinsu to dislike him and be taken under the Demon King's wing as Makaioshin in response. I also wonder if the "Demon Realm" is it's actual name. What if it's more of a netherworld that births all forms of supernatural, higher life forms that then serve to occupy higher planes of existence? Much like our world holds both good and bad people and the choices we make lead us somewhere in the same manner. Perhaps it's called the Demon Realm because the more sinister beings have been powerful enough for long enough to rule over it?
Yeah, it makes more sense. I've also noticed the ear thing - so look at Namekians, demons and Shin. They all have outward points. Whereas Toppo, great apes etc have ears that point upward. I'm sure I saw someone say that Warp Fish was particular about the pointed ear shape/angle. It may be that outward points are demon realm people. Plus, Namekians aren't necessarily demons. They originate from the demon realm sure, but does it mean they're actual demons, or just supernatural/magical beings from this realm that seems ruled by demons
What if Hercule is revealed to be a previous demon king, but he lost his powers somehow and got sent to the surface world, hence why Dabura's statue looks similar to his? It makes sense. His name is "Mr Satan." Plus, Videl is a play on "Devil".
I want this to be true! But also, I think the pose is more an indicator that Dabura, like Mr. Satan, isn't necessarily as bad of a guy as we think he is
Is the ozaru saiyan transformation a form of demon transformation because of the pointy ears in that state? What if the Ozaru state is their original form and for some reason got cursed to have a human form???
I think Glorio being shady is a red herring, similar to when Shin was first introduced. If he's not really a hero character, I think he will be by the end.
My theory is the ship that kami came too earth on, was not a space ship from namek but was a ship from the demon realm. This new old namekian could have been kami/demon king piccolo parent and was sent outside of demon realm.
I feel like the core people may have just traveled to the Demon realm at one point for some reason. Even despite the fact that not all species from the demon realm are going to be actual demons, it would be weird if the core people were actually from the demon realm Since they’re pretty much are designed to be some kind of god.
It looks like Toriyama took inspiration for his Makai worldbuilding from a lot of series like Made in Abyss and Star Wars and YuYu Hakusho and even the OG Doraemon movie Makai Daibouken

I forgot how much this creator uses speculation as facts. I'm not trying to hate, but we don't know that the warp fish is capable of traveling to other Universes. That is good speculation, it's just not confirmed. So saying it like a fact kinda bothered me a bit.
May be a silly question but do you think we will ever hear any mention of the gods of destruction and angels? As all I can think about is how the supreme kais life are linked with theirs. So at what point did that come about. I'm very curious

Someone probably mentioned already but the actions scenes of Goku fighting with the pans, eating while fighting, its very much like Jackie Chan fighting in his movies due him always fighting while eating food or just use furniture when he fights thugs. I wanna say when Shin turned Goku's ears pointy, i didnt remember Star Trek but i thought about the latest theories, speculation about saiyans have a inluence from demons and i laughed because Toriyama probably did this to keep trolling people that Saiyans are from there and i am "Well, now we can say Saiyans are from the demon realm."😂😂 That was actually really funny seeing Goku with pointy ears since you could that a inserted joke from Toriyama. Really good episode with plenty of Easter eggs. I gotta say the lore they keep add, that can possibly be a retcon, its been interesting because there's alot we can still discover. Shin's actually have its own species in the Demon Realm its interesting, i can totally see Toriyama showing in the next episodes the Shin tree and being from the demon realm because the demon realm, from what we have known so far, it was a realm that alot of species and its possible alot of deities, gods, probably humanoides somehow came from it since Demon Realm could have been the first realm or how the universe first started that connects everything to what we know from the diferent species in Dragon Ball.
In continuation with the Star Wars references, can we talk about the attire of the demons in the pub that is very Star Wars. Especially the wolf dude with the literal tatooine style cloths! I love the SW references.
