Zinnydin Yeah I just don’t like SF5’s gameplay...SF4 flows way better like butter, SF5 feels clunky. Plus footsies were taken out of SF5, so neutral feels and looks boring. The only thing I like about SF5 are the graphics, how good they made the characters look (Good example being Sagat, they nailed him perfectly and his body size), as well as the music, along with some stages like Akuma’s stage, night time version of the stage with the starry sky in the forest, EVO 2018 stage, etc.
god i love godsgarden, every match had some great moments, uryo was the man of the evening for me and itabashi always looks like he's having so much fun while playing
around 6:40 we see Poongko vs Fuudo with some stellar comebacks and reactions. It's so much fun to watch them play as they've both pretty much mastered their characters. Watching the game doesn't get much better than these two :D
Love all the parts of players beasting against Poongko. Don't get me wrong, Poongko is awesome, but I like to see that he's not as invincible as he seemed earlier :)
@nightseek I think after his lunge punch he back dashed to per-emptively avoid whatever Zangief was going to do, but since Zangiefs U2 catches anything in the air and Yun/Yangs back dash are treated as aerial moves he caught it and won. The whole tournament was amazing but I loved that bit the most because everyone was like "wtf just happened..."
As I was watching the number 1 greatest moment, I couldn't help but wonder what was so special about that match. It seemed like some nice moves and some cool comebacks... Then 9:27 happened
Dhalsim was dizzied so quick because zangiefs headbutt does approx 600 stun, the highest in the game. You could stun seth with a single counter hit headbutt.
@Mashiki Very true I suppose, but the way this video was composed, I figured that the final match was going to be a yang comeback and as someone who second's Seth, I couldn't help but feel very excited that the round ended the way it did! In short, I guess we were just cheering for different people.
@DeathGodAlchemist666 yes itabashi zangief u2 was a headscratcher, i gotta know what xian was doing, all he has to do was stand there but he did something
its a pretty big mind fuck to see how well these players can read each other in such a pressured situation and not only that, but to punish them with the best option giving them maximum dmg they can get. pretty disgusting
Wheres the Itabashi Zangief vs Xian match? And also the Makoto player vs Choco Blanka! Those 2 matches deserves to be here also. It should've been Top 12! hahaha
@23Sirus23 Wrong, Fuudo made about 1 or 2 lucky guesses, if you watch that match you will see Fuudo got outplayed for about 80% of it, just that Fei Long only needs three combos to beat Seth. One round ended in a perfect because Fuudo landed 2 combos, got a dizzy, did another combo and it was over. Let's see him read Poongko like a book with Fei Long in 2012.
Damn i couldnt believe Nemo would do such a badass comeback like that all over Poongko!! Shame he was cought in that predictable ultra II at the end. Should have baited and backdashed.
So many of these come back would not have been possible or extremely harder without the addition of the Ultra move. I like SF much better before they added all the super and ultra moves. Especially when you have characters that can chain supers into ultras in 2nd round.
