Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (2000) - OST: Fateful Confrontation 

Even if people don't really like this movie, it's still worth to note that it gave birth to the defining millennium era Godzilla theme.

If Godzilla's main theme represents his awesome being and the power he represents, then this theme is him marching off to war.

I swear Godzilla films never fail to make good main themes

This is a magnificent score by Michiru Oshima. She uses the Orchestra in such a dramatic, powerful way. Excellent work.

This song is the best theme Godzilla should have whenever he appears.

Despite Godzilla vs Megaguirus being one of the weaker Godzilla movies, This is a good godzilla soundtrack! It's imposing, suspenseful and very intimidating like Godzilla himself. I love this soundtrack, definitely in my top 10 favorite Godzilla music scores.

When i was much younger probably 6? Yeah around that i had (still have) this giant sized Godzilla 1998 figure its like 17 inches tall! And i used to go onto my bed and lay on the very edge and then recreate that scene where goji rises from the water behind the reporter and chanting this theme....danm those were the days...
