Shimo has ice powers he frozed earth and caused ice age also we saw king ghodirah trapped in ice so probably shimo did that too He is like the OG Titan of earth
Actually Godzilla wasn't afraid of shimo but kong did.even when Godzilla had fight with king Ghidorah,he wasn't afraid but fought hardly.If Godzilla have to fear a bit would be against Space Godzilla,Dagon or destroyah

Appearing in this movie are- Tiamat Scylla Godzilla Skar king Shimo Mothra Doug And skar king is bigger then kong and shimo is bigger then godzilla...the fact that kong and godzilla is scared is because skar king control shimo through his whiplash ..shimo is so powerfull that the ice age was because of him and in this movie he still try to bring back ice age because its his environment to live on...
