Some of the earliest levels are the best in this game and the ruins are perfect examples of this. While they are a little short they have a design and atmosphere that always sticks with me. Ape Escape's developers did an incredible job making every single level in this game feel unique and have a personality of their own. Even the monkeys have personalities in this game. The length that the developers went to when it came to detailing this game is really rare, even with modern game titles today.
