@@merv3930 s58 engine is the only thing I’d miss being in a m340i. But reliability wise I’m sure the b58 is way better. My m240i b58 has 65k hard miles in only 2 years and I’ve only had regular wear and tear maintenance on it so far. I don’t think the s58 could be abused for 65k miles and say the same.

@@OleMisss Have you ever driven an M compared to it’s non M counterpart? Its a world of a difference not just from the engine alone. But in regards to your comment, the S55 was very reliable along with the B58. The newer S58 is S55 on steroids and is meant to be abused on the track! It will eclipse the b58 and s55 altogether in power and reliability.

"Today marks the release of our second MHD+ feature, Antilag! It is available now for all MEVD DME's (S55/N55/N13). Antilag allows you to quickly build a set amount of boost while limiting acceleration, then quickly take off once released. To activate antilag, press and hold the cruise control SET button (or LIM, depending on your region) on your steering wheel and apply heavy throttle. Our antilag strategy will adjust the engine calibration to build boost. Once boost is built, release the button and go! The time required to reach boost target will vary depending on your turbo, but even large upgraded turbos are able to hit high boost within 1-2 seconds! Use our MHD monitoring with a boost gauge on screen to get a feel for the time your setup takes. There are also various safeties in place such as coolant temp, EGT temp, max duration per use, and cooldown time between uses. These values, as well as the time delay after button press until antilag activates are all set to safe values for those using the OTS antilag flash option. OTS users will have the ability to adjust the antilag boost target (max value depends on engine). Finally, custom tunes will have the ability to adjust ALL of the above values. We will be uploading the updated XDF files today. NOTE! If using antilag while rolling in an AT or DCT car, please ensure you are in Manual shift mode so that unwanted downshifts are avoided upon applying throttle.
