Glasgow Airport has no rail connection, so the next best thing would be a bus link. National Busways West Scotland knows this, so they launch alongside a mainline route from Glasgow to Paisley, a fast service to the airport via the M8 and Paisley Gilmour Street station. NBWS also know, however, that the fast service isn't going to be enough, and plan the bus link to the airport as a pair of routes, the second route to follow later on.
