There’s nothing like treating yourself in the name of self care and growth. I’ve always been scared to eat out in public on my own but when I finally got out of my comfort zone I absolutely loved it! Definitely a confidence booster 💛

I hope that more young women watch this and feel inspired to go take themselves out on dates, talk to shop owners, eat alone, etc. I started going on self care dates when I turned 30 and tbh idk why it took me so long to start. hey ashley, when the guy at the restaurant said “this is your house” i think he just meant that you’re fine, you can be comfortable and that there’s no rush for you to leave, it’s a common thing said in latin culture

He meant “don’t worry, this is your house” as he was being warm and welcome as the way you phrased “I can get the check in a second” seemed as though you were worried you were overstaying your welcome and that you will be getting it and leaving soon, so he was being nice :) kinda like saying- this is your house, stay as long as you want 💗💗💗💗

Personally as an introvert, constantly being around people can be pretty overwhelming so self-care dates are very important. Something, actually everything, about this video made me so happy. I am kinda really struggling right now in university, I'm away from my family, having a tough time making friends, and finals season is going on rn.
