That's crazy it had been 20 years since you had visited Japan! I like the K&F batteries, very nice and yes it's USB-C :P Like the carbon fiber tripod, I'll check it out for sure. Good decision on focusing on your family during Vacation. I enjoyed you showing us your camera gear and no it did not come across at all that you were bragging about your gear or trip!

Appreciated man. I've run into people saving a whole year to buy a good camera and here I come just spending money on everything and making zero money on youtube. I always feel guilty just being privileged enough to brute force my way into this. Ya Japan was 20 years ago! I'm so old :( Thanks for the comment and kind words man. Appreciate you. You could get an adapter hub for your phone that will let you plug in a Sd card and hard drive at the same time to dump footage.

Awesome Video! I use an iPad and an SSD to offload my SD cards without a laptop. Technically its the same as "working" but I definitely wouldn't edit anything on an iPad. Yet... Have a great trip!

Nice man, looking forward what you will record with this gear :). Since I have 2 little children long distance travel is for now on hold, but if we do a local vacation, I'm happy to have one camera with one lens and in addition my phone - specially since I upgraded to the Iphone 15 Pro Max, the 48MP and video log recording is great to have in a small form factor. And small form factor is required, since my kids regulary want to jump up to my arms, even when I carry an expensive camera xD

I pretty much just took one camera and one lens and it worked out great because my wife and kid move so fast there would have been no time for me to fiddle around with gear. Thanks for stopping by man. Appreciate it :)

Funny enough, I just bought a hard drive and a device that can transfer stuff from an SD card to the HD :) Thanks for the support.

Best product you can get to dumping your SD cards to a hard drive is a Western Digital passport pro. It comes either in a normal platter HDD or an SSD. There is a built in SD card slot. Just insert the SD card after the HDD Is powered on (it has internal battery power), and it will import all of your photos to the Hard drive. I'm also going to Japan this November to the middle of December. I'm pretty hyped as well.

Sweet! Let me check this out. I found another product that is essentially a wifi extender that does the same thing. It comes with an app where you can view and download selected footage to your phone and edit it. It's called the NewQ. It's pretty cool. Man Japan is going to be so fun. I'm excited for you haha. But me first. Two more weeks for me :)
