I highly recommend the live dvd "The Alive Flesh", which contains the best live performances of the most emblematic albums of the band, where also the sound of the mix incredibly good.
Can’t go wrong, especially on this album, even though it’s not one i listen to a lot, not my favourite. Double of ‘Pray’ (Red Rocks Live) or ‘Clone’ (Garorock). Keep em coming i’d say !
I don't understand why they recommend the Garorock versions or other versions, when the 2009 dvd "The Alive Flesh" contains the best live versions of the albums "From Mars To Sirius" and "The Way Of All Flesh".
@@Moonlapse508 Personally I like Gojira at Vieilles Chaures 2010 more, sure the overall “sound quality” may not be as clear as The flesh alive dvd but it’s easily their most intense performance(on purpose) plus they got hidden gems like Lizard Skin, Indians and World to Come(one of my favorites) also has my hands down favorite performance of Clone
@@justinb.hunter4832 Gojira's concert at Vieilles Chaures 2010 is not the most intense concert of the band, there are more intense Gojira concerts like the live at Hellfest 2013 and Eurockéennes 2009, also these concerts have a better process in the mix, so they are even more enjoyable.
@@Moonlapse508 agree to disagree about Eurockeennes though that has my favorite Backbone performance so I’ll give you that and while I love Hellfest 2013 it’s almost impossible to find a full recording in good quality
@@justinb.hunter4832 The full live set at Eurockeennes is the second best performance this band has ever done, in my opinion, and I also love Backbone's version of "Eurock", plus it contains the best version of "The Art Of Dying" and "Oroborus".
The whole album is just as filthy as this song is. Art of Dying is arguably their best song period, definitely the highlight of Way of All Flesh. If you haven’t heard it you’re doing yourself a disservice
Interesting you say the Jazz stuff and I very much hear it and I think the reason for that is Mario the drummer after he mastered the art of his speed after the album The Link please react to that album and going into the mars to Sirius album Mario was like you know what im ridiculous with this speed stuff and he went and got trained by the best of the best world class jazz drummers
well they can play it ,Joe said that singing and playing guitar at the same time is challenging on that one , he could do it but " i'm lazy haha" he said

Gojira has never played this live, Joe (vocalyst/guitar) says that it is way too hard to play and sing at the same time live, sucks because this song would Demolish live man
have you reacted to any of the link alive songs form 2003 ? would be cool to have a reaction to young Gojira ,they all have between 18 and 25 in this, actually the link album is one of their most technical , if you're curious i recommend Remembrance ( obviously ) Death of me ,, The link , Embrace the world and space time ( even tho that one is one the first album )
