I'd say even better Listening to the studio version doesn't give me the chills I get when I saw it live or watch the footage I recorded. Gojira concerts really hit different
@@insomniostudios4359 ive seen Gojira a couple times, saw them yesterday at the Mega Monsters tour here in Santiago, Chile and it really changes your life; its a whole experience i have no words to describe what it means to see them live but for sure people should see them at least once in their lifetime.

Id say its the best in the middle, the climax of the show. Ocean Planet or Born for one thing are better as openers (as they usually open the setlist), this one is a masterpiece you wait for and lose your shit when it finally comes. And the gift of guilt or Vacuity are the perfect closing songs
This song slaps (especially the drums) But I keep mishearing the lyrics "I'm naked in the disco" (I've been given the gift of so) "I want Pringle.. and cheerio in the afterlife"
I got into rack and metal recently and idk how nobody else has found this.. gojira is my favorite now and probably always will be… I mean they’re music is just so ambient I don’t know how to explain it but I love it 🤙🏻
If you guys like this song, you might like "Our Raw Heart" by YOB which is also about death, more specifically surviving it. It's not technical death metal like this nor is it sonically vicious but beautiful and healing (not to say that Gojira isn't healing or beautiful themselves).
I almost choked on a hotpocket to a gojira song. And it HAD to named “the art of dying” (Context: i have to cut my food up with a fork and knife and swallow food piece by piece because i dont have teeth, that was just one bite too big)
