The silence after the intro had me thinking I paused the video😭

Quite surprised that no one jumped on the possible symbolism of Gojo no longer covering his eyes after getting out of the box

No wonder bro was so obsessed with geto he was the only one who cared about gojo as a person and not just "the strongest six eyes and limitless user ever" not even his old friends and classmates during his teen years did that(lookin at you shoko). Everyone currently with the exception of Yuji and yuta having the same line of thought about him. Small things like geto patting him on the back after three days of no sleep to protect riko is stuff that he never got again once he left.

He was both. He was human, he had personhood and capacity for all human experiences like love and hate. He was also a weapon, like even in his own eyes. He enjoyed it. Gojo relishes in being the strongest whilst being tormented by the isolation it brings.

One of the few times we seen Gojo as a kid he was shown as a weapon to wield off assassins. We never seen him smile those few times as a kid and only appear cold. He was born with jujustu society on his shoulders by his mere existence. He didn't get to have a normal childhood, which also maybe why he has passion for the years of youth. It would've been nice to get a bit more context of his upbringing in the Gojo clan.

I love that you touch on Gojo’s protectiveness of youth, because it’s one aspect of his character that’s least mentioned, and one of my favorites. We first see it in hidden inventory, and then later with Megumi, Yuta, and Yuji. He’s a man who has strong convictions about allowing kids to enjoy their youth - maybe because those days were so precious to him.

I hate to say it, but he was probably more seen as a weapon/monster to most but definitely more down to earth at times which I loved seeing just as much if not more so than when he's in battle or something like that.

Gojo seems to me, a man who wants to change the world he lives in, his strength helps him but without those human connections it would not matter, he would just be another sukina. He's a mentor and through those he's nurtured I believe that in the end he will be proven right and his ideals will win in the end. Yes there are points in the story where he feels very much like Superman with overwhelming power, I said something to that effect when you reviewed the chapter he was released and showed up to menace kenjaku and throw down the gauntlet. Prior to that chapter it all seemed lost, Kenjaku and Sukina where winning on all fronts and nothing could stop them. He has the Superman Effect, things can be bad and even downright impossible but he helps you believe there is light at the end of the tunnel, that there is a way out of the darkness. That is in itself very human. He wouldn't of pulled that off if he hadn't shown he had the ability to be human, to care about others, he isn't Gojo because he's strong, he's strong because he is Gojo the man who didn't throw everything and everyone away like Sukina or Kenjaku and that takes strength.

While this is certainly a feel good video, it doesn't negate the fact of the matter, no matter how much we want it to. The Higher ups only dealt with Gojo because of his strength. Geto completely distanced himself because he felt Gojo was so far away from him. Sukuna only acknowledges him because his strength is at the peak of Jujutsu. The fact that everyone agrees to a plan that utterly strips Gojo from that power and puts someone else in control of it pretty much confirms, at the end of the day, he was [only] seen as a weapon. This is true of the fans as well. Think of all the "Gojo returns" theories. While they all varied, the main point either supporting or detracting from them was based around Gojo's strength. There was not a single theory of Gojo coming back reborn as a baby that didn't have the 6eyes. Why? Because we need Gojo NOW and we need his ability to fight Sukuna. Talk all you want about him being a friend and a person, in the final analysis, if you wanted Gojo back it was to justify beating on Sukuna. If you didn't want Gojo back it was because you were scared how Gojo beating on Sukuna would affect the story. Either way you're perceiving him as a tool to be used against an enemy. Sounds like a weapon to me 🤷🏿‍♂️

Reminds me of something I heard where the more power (No matter it's form) you hold the further your reality will be from what is commonly accepted as normal (even normal for a sorcerer). Gojo is always treated as a weapon imo to the point he has to lean into this mask of the strongest and he can do whatever he wants because all of Jujutsu Society could fall on him and he'd come out the winner. Even his closest friend Shoko doesn't have a problem with Yuta using his body if he loses because if he does all their backs are to the wall and if they fail it's not a stretch to say the world will be at the whims of Sukuna again. I think the problem is Gojo never really let that mask of the strongest down around anyone since Geto because he was so much stronger than anyone around him no one could truly understand him anymore and look past that mask. Maybe Shoko can/could have having known him for so long but we don't see enough of them interacting together for me to confidently say that.

Ironic, how yuta, yuji and geto the only three people who saw gojo as a human being are all from non-sorcercer backgrounds with yuji and yuta having met him rather recently compared to the rest of jujutsu tech. Really gives you a idea of just how fucked up jujutsu society sadly is.

The part where they all say Gojo is the Strongest pretty much sums up his character. He is much more than that but that’s what he’s recognized as so he bears this burden for everyone.

FINAL PREDICTIONS FOR CHAPTER 262!!!! the chapter starts with Yuta winning the domain clash due to the narrator explaining that Gojo already showed the way to beat the shrine OR SO WE THOUGHT! Sukuna mocks everyone by creating a new domain called : "Domain Expansion : Gege's Love Interest"!!!! this domain unlike the usual shrine got the world cutting slash as a sure hit effect and the domain radius is 2 light years! he created this domain by imposing on himself a binding vow that says he can only open domains from now on days that ends with "day"! everyone even the med team, Hakari and Uraume and the entire world population dies on spot besides Yuji due to everyone sacrificing their life energy to save him *very emotional moment*. the chapter ends with a buffed Yuji from all the cursed energy he got from the students and Sukuna regaining full strength even greater than the power he had against Gojo! due to sucking Gege's nuts sack as they stare at each other with murderous intent never seen before by both of them!!!

It sucks in JJK being human is punishing. The only reason Toji killed him 1st time was because he thought about Riko, the only reason he got sealed was because he thought about Geto and with Sukuna he thought about Megumi. Also after every fight Toji, Jogo, Sukuna he doesnt outright kills his opponents he asks for their last words. Because of his humanity, he failed. It doesnt just go for Gojo though, other sorcerer who cling to their humanity end up being weaker.

Gojo really had a good character run

Gojo = Pinnacle of a person having to show any mental issues. In a way he's inspirational to any1 who has mental issues and can't manage to keep emotions fresh and stay lively everyday.

i honestly think that Gojo lost BECAUSE he probably longed to be a human, making connections and relying on others, like what Yuji exemplifies. But he couldn't, because he felt as though HE was left behind by Geto in becoming a monster. He couldn't choose between either. Sukuna abandoned his humanity, literally like how DIO did, and became not only a monster, but literally a _force of nature_ . A natural disaster. And you cannot fight natural disasters. But you can help others in surviving and carrying on when they suffer from those disasters. That's why Yuji is never fighting alone when battling Sukuna. He fights with Higuruma, Yuta, Todo, Maki, Choso, even Ino. If he can help it, he gets up and helps them in their fights. That's why in retrospect i LOVE the concept of the "Disaster Curses". They provide the foundations and foreshadowing for what Sukuna would become to the heroes. The one true disaster. The one problem with my analysis is that, despite it all, everyone is still dying around Yuji. He becomes more alone as the other sorcerers are dropping like flies around him and Sukuna. This will probably be the moment where Yuji has his epiphany and makes his decision: fight for the sake of others and keep their well-being in his mind to retain his humanity, or become a full-fledged monster like every other sorcerer?

I think Geto was still alive and on his side we would have seen a very different adult Gojo i think he would not care about faustering a new generation because Geto would be with him to stand by him as his equal because the only reason Gojo cared about teaching is because he wanted allies to stand beside as his equals to aliviated his burden and loneliness who could understand him and Geto was still alive and at his side he would have that Gojo is basically a good version of Griffith in a way
