Vegito is the result of the Potara Fusion, which is what Zamasu and Goku black did and it involves the potara earings. Gogeta is the result of the fusion dance, which is an inferior method of fusion because for the fusion to work the strongest person has to lower their ki to match the ki power of the weaker person. However, with the potara fusion the strongest person can be at max power, regardless if the person they are fusing with is weaker.

Zamasu was more of a distinguished villain since he had a plan and a goal to achieve. Kid buu was more of a menace, he just did things becuz he wanted to. Buu had no goal or plan, he winged all of his fights and played around

Goku black is 100x stronger than buu lol. This arc takes place about 5 years after buu defeat. That blue form goku and vegeta use lets them channel god Ki. The power scaling has gone way above buu

To help on the concept of fusion, there are 2 ways to fuse in DBZ. There’s the potatoes earring and then the fusion dance. The earrings make Vegito and the dance makes Gogeta

Vegito's name is a combination of the names 'Vegeta' & Goku's saiyan birth-name 'Kakarot' (or the Japanese pronunciation, "Kakarotto"). Vegito is the Potara fusion (the earrings Goku Black & Zamasu had used as well) between Goku & Vegeta. That blue form they were in was Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS); in other words, a Super Saiyan God learning how to go Super Saiyan. What Grand Zeno had erased as the future part of the timeline the fight took place in, though the present was still fine. Future Trunks & Mai though had to be sent to another timeline where they still were alive, so everyone who you saw as bystanders during Zamasu & Black's reign of terror were living in peace in said alternate future Whis had sent them to.

33:10 when Goku & Vegeta fuse trough fusiond dance, they turn into Gogeta. When they use these Potara earings they turn into Vegito.

Zamasu is more powerful than buu and definitely did some crazy shit like eliminating all the supreme kais in the multiverse (indirectly killing all god's o destruction in the multiverse since they are linked to their supreme kai), ravaging life on planets throughout the multiverse I assume too. However, buu bro.......nah that a freak of nature, if that thing had goku blacks power forget eliminating all mortals multiversally......it would have tried to destroy the multiverse itself that nigga don't give AF. I will say though them calling zeno to finish zamasu off is an L in my book like......if zeno didn't exist the protagonists would have lost, so to me zamasu was the first dragon villain in the whole franchise who actually won and the heroes lost.....crazy.

I mean it depends which version of Fused Zamasu you're talking about. Cuz like, in the manga Goku learned Hakai, tried to delete Zamasu, but Zamasu just said "Nope". So if you ask me the manga version might be worse than Buu.

Zamasu did more damage than kid buu ever dare to do. Zamasu killed supreme kais of entire multiverse so destroyer who stronger than them would die with them. They destroyed all mortals and all Dragonballs so they can't revive anyone or any world i don't know about other universes but when zamasu became infinite form the multiverse fate been sealed.
