Vs battles is wrong there; Goku Black can destroy thousands of universes, but Reverse Flash can destroy MILLIONS of them (and obviously, Reverse-Flash destroying 70 million universes > Goku Black destroying several thousand). Barry Allen and Wally West obviously scale to Reverse-Flash's power, so that means Reverse-Flash can survive his own power which is higher than Goku Black's power. Get rekt.

Dr.manhattan never tried to kill him. only temporarily remove him. we saw that one raise of his hand was enough to Reboot DC. reverse flash paradox can be ended by beings that manipulate timelines and dr.manhattan can literally instantly defeat reverse flash with just his presence.

About their explanation on how Goku Black's existence makes no sense due to the time travel stuff, I think the guys at Death Battle forget that time travel in the _Dragon Ball_ franchise doesn't work the same way that it works in other works of fiction. Because it's not just time travel; it's multi-time reailty travel. Future Trunks' timeline is an alternate reality that co-exists with our main heroes' timeline; hence why the future didn't change for Trunks when they killed Cell and when 17 and 18 reformed themselves. So, Goku Black was born in a version of our main heroes' reality where Beerus did not intervene and killed Zamasu. But when Beerus did intervene, he created another alternate reality where Zamasu never stole Goku's body, but as explained by Wiz, that didn't result in Goku Black disappearing due to the time ring making him immune to whatever a Destroyer God did to him in the past. EDIT: ALSO, one thing they got wrong about the time ring is its specifically stated in the Anime and Manga that time rings are only designed to go FORWARD in time and back to their POINT OF ORIGIN! The only reason it enabled Black to arrive to Goku's time was because it reacted to the rip in the space-time continuum by Trunks' Time machine. So, Black being able to follow Reverse-Flash in the Speed Force is BULLSHIT!

Being fair, it is confusing. It also seemed like time travel to the past was more of a rule, since there's no real reason to want to travel back years or centuries unless you wanted to say.... Kill a God of destruction at their weakest point. Black doesn't exactly follow rules so maybe he found a loophole.
@@SeraphSeph No. They actually said the time rings were designed never to go back in the past beyond their point of origin, because time is so fragile that messing around with it is a serious divine offense. So, every time Black used the time ring (minus that small jump to the past due to reacting to Trunks' time machine), he always went forward to the future. He went forward a year to collect the Super Dragon Balls to make his first wish (switching bodies), then went into the time and reailty of Future Trunks, killed _that_ Gowasu, befriended the Zamasu of that time, used the Super Dragon Balls in that reailty to not only make Future Zamasu invincible but use them again to destroy all Dragon Balls of that reality to ensure no one could stop them.
Long story short, Dragon Ball makes no sense at this point and it's an aneurysm in waiting to try and think about it. It was entertaining and that's enough. Eitherway he was gonna lose.

They didn’t look at the previous statements before they retcon them self’s so we can’t use It or compare them for those reasons either.
Considering Thawne has gone up against people with rings before with powers that include time travel and can sense temporal anomalies, I don’t think so.
What I don’t get is how would thawn know what the time ring does. Like he would have to have the ability to travel between the dbz multiverse, but he doesn’t have that power at all.
Wrong he can hope dimensions/realities cause he did it before. Besides RF could see time disturbances. even if he couldn’t he’ll try out every option eventually where as goku black couldn’t really figure out how to beat him
Yeah, combine Thawne's crazy superior speed and his high level of intelligence, and he was gonna figure out how to deal with Black's "living paradox" thing long before Black could figure out how to do the same to Thawne.
