The thing is Zeno was already planning to erase the universes with lower ranking so honestly goku gave those universes a chance by suggesting a tournament
Tech all the universes from the trny was gonna be erased as the grand priest stated. The trny allowed for only one to survive the erase instead of all being whipped out. So yes Goku did to a good thing technically.
@@kylemcmurren1576I think it was for sure the plan from the beginning but since zeno is easy to please as long as he is happy and having fun it was more of a moral test then anything. If a bad wish was made it would have solidified what zeno was afraid of and that being those universes where not worth keeping around. Even the strongest out the bunch.

To explain a bit, super saiyen blue, is super saiyen god going super saiyen. You can think of god as goku's base form but in god ki instead of normal ki and blue is him going super saiyen using that ki. Rather than rage powering it like the normal super saiyen transformation, blue is triggered by intense control which allows him to add kaioken.
@@zacbarnett007 Godzilla minus is no debate a snooze fest. Legendary Godzilla movies are a million times more exciting for sure. As for graphics wise for Toho studios it's best they made a Godzilla actually look realistic wise but still the movie is boring asf plus 2 and half hours which barely shows Godzilla only like half the movie if that.
The "Divine Guidance" thing I think got thrown off when Bibidi had Majin Buu kill four of the Kais leaving the youngest and least experienced left to cover all of Universe 7.
Have you ever seen the RU-vid edit where the tournament was actually 48 minutes long? That was insane. I can accept that they move at superhuman speeds obviously.....but when they are talking to each other are they talking at the speed of light as well?
To be fair, Yeah Goku should've listened to Beerus' warnings about Zeno and the Tournament, but in case you forgot, it was Zeno's Idea for the tournament during the fights between the 6th and 7th
Btw Don in the manga not the anime instead of this expo fight they do have an all out fight with all the destroyers, it shows how strong beerus really is
One thing you missed, yes the tournament is happening because Goku asked, but the universes involved were to be destroyed anyway. This gives the other universes a chance, and accident by Goku but he didn't chase their destruction
Goku actually HELPED every universe when he suggested this tournament. Because Zeno was going to erase all of the universes with a weak level including Beerus' universe. Goku gave him the idea of a tournament so they would all have a fighting chance. Also Don. There IS a tournament between the Gods but it was in the Manga.

The thing about what Bergamo said to get everyone against Goku is that if anyone just stopped to think, Goku saved all their lives potentially. Zeno wouldn’t annihilated the multiverse and just started fresh if the tournament weren’t a thing. Now five universes will be left instead of everything being gone.
When they're talking about the universes power levels, they were referring to the average power level of the entire universe. Gokus universe was so low because almost everyone in his universe was fairly weak. There were only a select handful of strong beings in his universe. Frieza and the frieza force probably didn't help when they eliminated any strong opposition that resisted them
@TheImmortaI are you sure, because they make it seem like it is about power levels, universe 11 has all the strongest fighters and the highest ranking
It always came off to me as more of a degree of civilisation than battle power. Why would Zeno and the angels give a flying fuck whether the mortals of a given universe were any good at fighting or not?
@TheImmortaI I'm fairly certain it is. During the Zeno expo, grand priest pointed out the mortal levels of each universe were rated. Gokus was second from the bottom and the universe they were competing against was the bottom. He then stated that out of all universes they were the weakest of them all on average. Power level certainly appears to be a factor
@nickgiotis6206 I think power levels must have been a big factor if not the only factor. Gokus universe was rated 2nd from the bottom and the wolf universe was rated the bottom. He even said on average they were the two weakest universes so there is some connecting factor between mortal levels and power levels in my opinion

Goku ISNT a villain here, they even SAID the omni king was going to destroy universes ANYWAY before this whole tournament stuff came up. Goku tournament idea just made it so that the Universe get to choose/effect which ones get destroyed now, which is a lot better than your universe being blinked out of existence at random and you couldnt do anything about it... at least this way they have the chance to do something about it, so goku is actually HELPING them. For example what if Thanos had went to every planet in the universe and said half of you are gonna have a tournament against the other half and the winning planets will be the ones that dont get blipped when I do the snap..... wouldnt that be a LOT better than what actually happened? At least that other option lets them choose instead of it being random
Gohan as small kid got almost killed by ginyu force. Set trauma let him do their silly dance and pose thing as saiyaman, And let him fanboy when enemies does it. Probably abridged and non cannon tho
I can see this being Goku's fault but not entirely, Zeno wanted a tournament after seeing the five vs five between 7th & 6th. Goku just basically asked to start setting it up now and Zeno was the one to decide to erase the losing universes. Goku is never going to ask for that high of a stake knowing that most likely he would want to fight them again like Hit.
that paetron was wrong, it is not intelligence. its battle power/power levels. it is based on how strong they are. if you take a second and look at the whole dragonball universe that we have been exposed to ( in universe 7) we have in inactive kai (till basically from OG dragonball till now has been making waves) and a sleepy destroyer. Not to mention we had Frieza subjgating planets and eliminating any planet of people who posed a threat to him (i.e the sayians) we had majjin buu going the the cosmos destroying multiple planet( evil buu in the past). that all plays a part as to way the universe as been so weak. Basically short form, inactive gods, and a choatic universe that stops out the powerful (until) powerful gets gets beaten and replaced with good( Team earth). earth being the center of basically the universes strength and good
you could say that goku is the villain for the whole tournament, but when you look at it he really actually saved every universe and gave each one a fighting chance because if they didn't do the tournament Zeno would've deleted all the universes that are participating, so really he gave all of them including his universe a fighting chance
Kinda pointless that goku has so many transformations especially ssj3 but I hate when ppl watch something and forget sum important or not hard to forget like they explain more than 1 he doesn’t use ssj3 bc it takes the most energy so he’d have to end a Fight fast unless he gets gassed
