That is cool. Take the whole family to the edges of the last frontier and pan for gold. I mite have to add this to my bucket list. I'll probably be by myself. As soon as my family cant get Wy-FY they start shriveling up and dying. I didn't think my wife and my buddy's wife was going to make it on a 3 day fishing trip in the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota the year they wanted to go with us. We got a cabin. Me and my friend usually stayed in tents. It was a nice cabin. There was no phone,cable TV, there wasn't even a television. Cell phones worked if you stood up on the main road. I love it. The more seclusion the better for me. You did get some gold. There's gold here in the county I live in. It would take 6 months of hard work panning to get as much as you had in the pan. Pump sleuth probably does a little better. The most I seen pan here is 19 grams in 9 months. 25 grams in one year using a pump sleuth. Man you made some memories I'll bet. Thanks for sharing.

Hey I'm a new subscriber and I love your home, very cool and it fits your personality.. I have a question, I live in a area where most all artifacts are made of quartz , white, rose, smokey and crystal quartz,, I have over 2000 assorted artifacts and only 5 are flint and 2 chert. Stone being such an important part of life for the native Americans do you think that the health of these people were related to the type of stone available in the area where they lived.. for instance in my area quartz would be the dominant stone for making tools and very hard to make tools from quartz but in an area where flint , chert, jasper was the dominant stone or available stone they would have much more success in making tools that actually would be razor sharp.. anyway just a thought and very interesting channel,,, oh and I'm definitely gonna try the stick in the river for trapping stone over time .. thanks
