Bro. Tim is a gospel legend, and Bro. Scott is doing a fine job of filling his shoes. Saw them recently at Coteau Baptist Church in Houma, LA. and had a great time of worship.
I love this song I woke up with this song playing in my head. And this song is your question on any bad thought or anything negative just turn your back and start walking in a positive direction and don't look back and when your mind start to wonder just check your self and say not today
Enjoyed them at the Whisnant's Annual Homecoming in Morganton, NC a few weekends ago. Had a great time listening to them and the other groups there, Friday and Saturday.
Brian Rayburn , Chris voice timber, in my opinion has more weight, timber, fuller. That being said, I don't know his age, but am sure he's a young man n has a great future for development. Let's say, Chris is an all "natural" bass singer, ie, Big John Hall.
Oh my gosh.. I thought I recognized that tremendous voice! He looks a little different than he did last time I saw him, maybe more than 10 yrs ago. He was singing with another quartet, I believe Mercy's Mark. We never forgot that voice, arguably the best in Southern Gospel, and wondered about him many times. We're so glad he's singing with the best! Great fit!
DavesNotHere56, the register is there however I think he has more resonance (timber/depths) than Riley. Aaron McClure was heading that way too but for whatever reason, he either stoped or went a different route.
You're an idiot for making a ridiculously stupid comment that disrespects Gold City's best bass.. pitchy? Not even close dude. Sounds like you're just being bitchy...
@@frankosborne8167 I agree with the original comment, I have heard him sing before and he is definitely reaching for that note, I have heard him hit it other times with no issues at all though. It could be that he just had an off night.
I do have to wonder how much of that is due to technological advances, though? The Cathedrals released their version in 1999, whereas this was published in 2016...
@@gothard5 I'm with you. I want to assume the OP was referring to the instrumentation. Younce sang his part with such comfort and sang the notes more accurately than I'm hearing in this video. No shade on GC's bass singer. Everyone sang / is singing for the Lord and edify the body of Christ.
