This is the last video for 2021 and although not knowing where the journey is going to take me next year, I can tell already it's not going to be boring! A few of you were concerned because of another big heat wave that has come through this part of Australia. I’m very well, staying in an air-conditioned room in town and spending Christmas in good company. Big thank you to every single one of you out there for watching my videos and posting the nicest comments! The huge amount of positive feedback is what keeps me interested and motivated to continue this channel! Merry Christmas, guys!
Congratulations on a nugget with the equinox! Probably the first time I’ve seen the equinox been used where it’s probably best suited. The poison bottles would be mentholated spirit or kerosene the big bottle or “Goon” would be cheap wine. Goon is Australian slang for flagon of wine. Mentholated spirit was also drunk as cheap alcohol, an unfortunate fact. Thanks for sharing another entertaining part of your adventures.
This is awesome watching your content evolve seeing you 'loosen up' a little and your on screen confidence grow after the response you've been receiving. Your videos are just getting better and better. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. I hope 2022 brings you more treasures than ever. Keep up the fantastic work! 🤗
I appreciate that! Constantly trying to improve the videos, the filming, editing and of course myself. A lot of work involved but it's been a fun project. Thanks for your feedback, stay safe!
Krissy love all you do. I’m a senior that can’t do that but a once upon a time I wanted too but work and family were a priority back then. Your an inspiration to lots of people. I’m 81 and love watching you find gold and coins and other treasures. Good luck in 2022. Plus good luck in the final days of 2021.
You got it Krissy! A small DD coil will absolutely kill it in trashy areas nobody else dares to hunt. And Barry you sir are a class act for sending Krissy that coil. Listen to everything, allowing your ears to pick out the sounds that don't belong and you will hear the Gold. God bless and good hunting to my favorite treasure hunting Aussie!
Merry xmas Krissy , 2 cent coin has the frilled neck lizard on it . The poison bottles i would guess are most likely methylated spirit bottles from probably the 1960's - 70's .
Another enjoyable video.....We used to have those bottles when I was a child... methylated spirits, shellac, turps, kerosene etc. Love your enthusiasm, it never wavers......stay safe...take care..
Well done Kristin with the NOX - shiny seems to always be bigger than our guesses - i got a nicy slug like a big TicTac was guessing just over 1g but was 2.05g - super with Z coil :) keep cool drink lots water.
Hey Krissy. I hope you had a nice Christmas and had a chat with some family. I think the poison bottles would be kerosine for lanterns. I am currently in Nundle NSW on the Peel river chasing some gold which is a bit scarce at the moment but I will never give up. I have 2 more weeks to go and I am sure it will come. I look forward to seeing your next video. I hope you have a magic 2022 and you find more gold than ever. I think you are not far from finding the big one. Cheers Paul AU White
sende Dir liebe Chrissy alles alles Gute zum neuen Jahr und viele wunderschöne Funde für dein neues Jahr ! Pass gut auf dich auf und bleib wie du bist ! Greetz
Keep collecting the 1 cent & 2 cent coins Krissy. The going rate for a circulated 1¢ or 2¢ coin is $3 while those in mint (uncirculated) condition can be worth up to $15. Rarities, such as a 1966 ''mis-struck'' coin, are listed for $95.
I hang out for Sunday to watch your channel Krissy. Great find with the equinox. Nice looking piece of gold. Well done Barry from Melbourne. As usual Krissy, great footage. Great video. You deserve everything you find. You work hard for it. 👍

Merry Christmas, Krissy Another great video. Love the hat you make it look good. If you ever come to New York, dinner and a Broadway show on me. Be well looking forward to next video.
The lead projectiles appear to be from the black powder / muzzle loading era. (1800s) .. The "poison" bottles are probably metho bottles. Great video..
Great hunt the small coil makes a big difference in trashy areas it's a good back up, hope you have a great Christmas and hope you have the best of luck in the new year
the small bottles I think was methylated spirit and the big bottle is tawny port both used for getting drunk both as a popular choice in the mid-70s and 80s, was found that indigenous population would drink it as before the Aussie government mandated it with a foul-tasting additive it was almost 80% alcohol content
Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a happy and successful New year Krissy. Really appreciate your hard work and your videos are top shelf entertainment. Top respect from the UK 🇬🇧
Hi Krissy thanks for your channel, just wondering if you could show some of the numbers on the Nox 800 when you find a target. Thanks and Happy New Year.
Great treasure hunt, I noticed the sheen of sweat at one stage, I have been wondering how cool you always look, it's raining over here in the NT and has been so for three days now, I have a number of leaks in the van roof but I am putting up a bigger tarp today between showers, keep up the great pics hope you had a good xmas.
Hi Leon, the humid heat a day after the rain is so much worse than just normal hot... Looks like the rain is going to continue for a little bit longer up your way. Hope you're staying dry and safe!
Very happy to see you survived that heatwave that hovered in your area for a while. Have you taken a trip down to the Wolf Creek crater yet? Or have those movies scared you off? There should be an olde cemetery at old halls creek over the back a bit. Keep going down that road the olde township is on and turn off just past that homestead on your right. It goes towards a spring But just up from that water hole is an olde 1030's campsite. Small coil should get you some nice coins there. Stay out of that noonday sun
You really know that place well! A few cemetery scenes were in the earlier videos from up here but I'll go back have a look for that camp site one day. Haven't been to the crater, would love to see it but 150km on a heavily corrugated road would destroy the old troopy. I don't like the movie much but I'll say it's the road that prevents me from heading out that way 😉
Merry Xmas and I hope you have a great new year...I look forward to your travels and find in the year to come.. stay safe and enjoy yourself. We're always thinking about you 👍
Hi Krissy ! Greetings from the USA. If you don’t mind, what settings were you on ? Thank you for your videos, you have the best positive and encouraging attitude !
I've dug up more than my share of cans that wash down from the can dumps left over by the miners in the 1800s. GPS 4500 GPZ 7000 didn't matter they'd be down 30". I'm one of those people that stay away from can dumps.
Hello Krissy, Merry Christmas and congratulations on finding that nugget. I just wanted to let you know that I have found gold less than one fourth that one you found with my Equinox 800 and it registers as a one or a two, I suppose the bigger they get the higher the number but then again I found gold rings that registered between four and thirteen. Any consistent solid number/sound you should dig up. Keep up the good work and have fun.
Just a thought to share for this New Year (I celebrate on December 22nd) Tucker for the Soul: Whatever one is Searching for, gold, diamonds, that lost moment, sanity, Peace of Mind... it's always in the Last Place one looks for it. Subtle is the syntax and maybe a bit of mischief PLAYING on Words. EASY for me to say but it isn't always or in ALL ways. I TRY to remember: It's the Journey, not the destination. In deed (and "practice" ) we are all headed to the same place, just passing though and/or around or in this corner or that, of an Earthly PARADISE on the WAY to the larger PICTURE. Yes? One word can say it all. But one picture can speak a thousand WORDS. So... one SPEAKS few words and lets the picture(s) SPEAK for themselves. (NOT practising what I preach, here. LOL). Get the PICTURE. I WISH I could say that this INSIGHT came to me as a function of my "worldly" ways and TIME, but... I knew it at first sight (@ 10 y.o.) as the Nature of things: from the inside of a Boxcar (named Desire?) ticking through a lowland Country tract in the USA, to a stark ridge in the Himal, in line-of-sight with Ama Dablam and her big Sis Everest (Sagamartha) hanging on the Horizon. It's ABOUT horizons: high line of focus, mind where you are and DON'T look down... "Slick-rock" Philosophy? YEP! You got that right. Climbed a LOT of that from the ground UP (THAT is the general Direction). Only way to see where one is going and how to get there. Haven't FALLEN OFF once since I FELL for it. It's been a DEVIL and an Angel, with one helluva pair of Wings. It's the challenge of a Life and Time. It lifts me up... still... or on the move: I'm headed that-a-ways ⬆️. Brevity is the SOUL of WIT. I got that... a couple of billion words ago. On occasion I am WITLESS. LOL But words is all we have. Sometimes a simple HOW D'YOU DO? suffices. However, Kicking back around a fire after a DAY (any day will do) one will sometimes ramble... Nature of the Beast. But the spaces between the WORDS are equally significant. It's where Wisdom and People hide; measured, in and of the Moment: Right there in front of us. Seeing is not believing. Seeing is knowing what is only half-spoken with words alone. ✋ Peace in the coming New Year.
The 1 cent coin and the 2 cent coin you found look like they are in good condition so they may have some value it also depends on their age as well as condition even though they are not that old .
Merry Christmas Krissy, I've enjoyed your videos this year and you just proved you can find gold in a landmine of trash. You have given me hope next time I'm in an area similar to what you just went through. I'm still very new to Metal Detecting and I think it's the best hobby in the world. I wish you all the best over the holidays and new year and a big shout out to Barry. BYE KRISSY.
