I can't say whether this is a great AI music video or if human-made videos are just too bad. If you think about it, it's true that music videos nowadays (human made) are just a bunch of short clips pieced together. Anyway, the AI-generated video quality is great for sure and very talented AI user.

It's a bit misleading as this is not 100% ai. Transitions, effects like smoke, some of the movements, masking elements, all of these were done by human.

Wes, great Channel and fantastic episode as always. I think it's amazing to see a-list musicians and other celebrities starting to use AI for their projects. I know there are a lot of upset people who feel their jobs are going to be taken away, and I get it, but I'm not sure how you stop this train... Also, did you notice in the "trailer image" - the one with most of the cast - the character on the left looks like a mashup of Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. Am I having an AI induced hallucination? Please help!

This is very much a human creation. Concept, tool selection, prompt engineering, and a good video editor. It's AI as a tool. Not AI as a creator.

They way I see it, now I can make my own music, own videos that I would like to listen to all the time. Don't have to buy someone's music that I may like but is a feeling in general. Now I can listen and it can be about me. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for all those artist because if it was not for them we could no make this happen. But now is my lyrics and music :)

This is really genius. I am sure people would immediately believe that just one AI did that, at least the people who are not in the AI scene. 🤣 It will still take much time, especially with so many different AI's used, wow... I am not sure if I would have the patient for that, at least not at the moment... if I would get lost in something like that... no, no, I shouldn't think about it. And suno... wow, this made me so happy. I would have never thought it would have such a great effect on me... I created the first song and... I cried, no joke. I LOVE music, but I don't think that I am skilled enough to write my own sheet music, maybe with loooots of work and much more time put into it... But I have so many on my plate, if I'd started that too... I had to skip sleeping for years. It took me some trying and checking suno out, but eventually it got better and better, added Violin solos and... I have a playlist for sports now, or I added them to the list. I am so impressed and I love it. And I think it will just get better =) And I had some pieces... they sounded real, like... really, really authentic. It wasn't my style at all (tried different styles) but the sound and the voice was MOST impressive. So, sometimes it just takes more tries, absolutely love it!

Considering one guy did this it's pretty impressive. We are still only in the vary early days of this technology imagine were things will be in a couple more years. I mean just look at the progress of Sora. I recently seen an app that wrote the lyrics background music and vocals from a single text prompt. So the technology is accelerating quickly. I'm not sure what the implications of all this change will be. Will society in the future listen to AI sound tracks created as pop music. Like we listen to the same churn of human created pop music. Possibly since no one really cares about pop music just flash in the pan stuff to listen too in the background. But who will be making the money especially if the artist who create this material can't claim copyright to AI content. It might end up being fenced off so only the corporation will be given access to it. No longer needed artist or producers or anything just an algorithm that generates a new rap/pop song every couple of days. Then published on corporate owned digital media networks. I think it is beginning to be obvious that we need to consider the possible future reality here. Not from an angle of how we control it but how do we live with it.

I just made a music video today, but I’m still doing part of the art 😂. I have Google sitting here, tapping me for copyright as these AI’s are stealing everyone’s information to include mine. The tech companies are going to have to be held accountable. They’re tagging music that I am using through things like Beatleap and they should know better. I’m gonna just have to sue them all and take their money away. They’ve already screwed up their own reputations.

As far as I understand you do not need permission from the creator of a music video to talk about it.

To create something like this, you need the idea of what you want the final result to be, and then know how to use all the various tools available to do it, how long before an AI agent can do that? Tell it, create me a video, anything you want, and off it goes, and comes back with a two hour film noire with Yoda as a private detective?

A lot of clenched buttocks in the comments section. No one cares if this is going down in artistic history alongside Mozart's 3 operas or how many copyright violations it contains. It's just an example of the increasing technical capabilities of these systems. In 6-12 months you'll see skilled household name artists using these systems to create clean original works at 10x the speed and one-one hundredth the cost of current videos.

My concern with this is that it seems to be purposefully trying to push the envelope to how far they can use images from other very famous characters -- I wonder if the artist obtained permissions... if not then I have to worry about whether this will stand any sort of legal challenge in the long run.

I think musically it would've worked better going with a T-Pain auto-tuned style. Was a bit too flat and monotoned like this, and rhythm was kinda boring too. I think I know what song he's parodying, and it not really an improvement over this version, so I guess the lousiness is excusable; but focusing on just the quality side of the music, there definitely were way better ways it could be done.

it's amazing! but i wouldn't call it 100% AI. the fact that the guy used all these different tools means that he did a lot of the work. if an AI Agent had chosen all the tools in the right order, picked all the images, did the editing, and put the whole thing together, then i'd call it 100% AI ;)
