He sure is a good curler consistent. I heard he has had a lot of surgeries on what knees ? Back? Not sure but he is so young and always think he might say enough is enough but he is hanging it. I missed the game on tv
Great finish. The last shot by Edin travelled approximately 960 inches. About 1 inch more, and Gushie would have won the match! Sports can certainly be a game of inches.
one inch made ALL the difference. I thought Gushue and his team played well ALL week long, and it is hard to see them lose by a difference if a hakf inch or less ... but Silver is still a good reward, and it s something like 4 silvers in a row, I think, for Gushue.
lil early on the sweep there nichols on the last stone...NO brushing til rock touches T line..NO WARMING UP THE ICE. You cannot start to sweep an opponent's rock until it touches the “T” line.
The show man in WMCC!!!Really interesting to follow this team, many ups and downs, sometimes got really lucky and unbelievable breaks, especially early ones against NORWAY and Switzerland .And then seem to play better and better, always make shots when needed . Although It’s like they are destined to win this title , it all comes down to a dramatic finish!! What BETTER way to showcase the sport of CURLING!!!
Can't help but feel sorry for the Canadians, though. They would have beaten just about everybody else, and probably Edin four times out of ten. Harnden was a weak link in both games, but that's probably in large part because he's up against absolutely brutal Sundgren and Wranå.
Gushue is like 95% on picking rocks that are fully buried. It's his bread-and-butter shot, it's what he's known for. He probably did it 20/20 at the Canadian Brier to get here. Unfortunately, he happened to miss this one.
Appreciate Edin's powess in curling. I question Swedish curling teams living in Canada - like New Zealand. What financial support do they receive from their home countries?
@@alexandermai5493 I was just joking.... Gushue is great .... everybody in Canada loves him. Sweden is just better than Canada in men's curling .... have been for years now. Canada is 2nd best.... no shame in that.
