another thing Gorov lmg, u compare it with top machineguns, but u can use it on any soldier, it means U should compare it with auto rifles like AVT40, and with this LMG u can make squad that has literally 7 machinegunners. It is very cool because bots with machineguns are very cool. Another way is to use with infantry squad having suvivability of 9 infantrymen u can give 5 machineguns 4 of wich wouldnt be the best machineguns but still very good.
Gorov LMG is actually really good. It brakes the rulles because you can give it to engineers, rifleman, radioboys and anti-tankboys and its also really light. I use it in my full auto smg squad on my enegineer.
The De Lisle Commando Carbine is chambered for .45 ACP. Just because a cartridge utilises the same bullet diameter as most rifle cartridges, that doesn't make it rifle calibre. It's essentially a suppressed bolt action Thompson. If the charge casing was, say, 100mm and the bullet was redesigned to be more streamlined, that would turn the cartridge into HMG calibre.
I like the Gorov because unlike other MGs you can give it to other classes. I just recently got four and gave them to my non-machine gunner soldiers on my MG squad, just to say "I got a squad full of MGs"
Just for extremely fun and meme purposes, I am trying to equip all the 7 tankers in my type 3 Ka-Chi squad with sword pistols. I can literally have my tank rush in behind enemy lines and deploy 7 samurai with sword pistols. How epic was that
*The only gun that could be, even considered to be a "Fantasy" gun, is the Conders... there was only one weapon found and the engineers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds had to finish the build by using MG42 parts. It was still a real gun and existed & shot in physical form. There's also rumors that one of the family members of the designer was using one with his "City Milita" Volkstrum squad.*
@@bbcmotd it's a good point but lot of them weren't adopted by army just because production/maintenance issues which in the game isn't properly reflected. But agree on the main point, the feed is full of extremely Forced-to-be-there weapons
26:20 I wanna say that it’s a .45 pistol round so that wouldn’t be a long range rifle because the drop on a .45 is quite big with it being already subsonic and has a suppressor on it so yeah it’s a slow moving quiet round… maybe the damage should be buffed a tad bit but not a lot… also if the game didn’t show which enemy killed you or where they were then it might workout quite well cause the enemy wouldn’t know where you would be because the suppressor minimizing flash and sound suppression but you can always try and takeout the ai players of a squad first and then finally shoot the main human played enemy because if your ai dies you kinda don’t know where from
I agreee with most of the points here. However there are some things I'd like to point out. The suppressed mosin velocity is half of what rifles usually have, so you need to aim higher to adjust for the drop. The Gorov is not that bad because it can be equipped by an engineer. The main problem with it is that you only have 20/40 ammo and it has a high fire rate so you need to have an ammo pouch or be near an ammo box. 11.40mm in the de lisle is also .45 ACP 🙂
The standard type hei rifle has only 5 rounds, I'd argue that the type hei late is currently the best semi auto japanese weapon, with otsu having pathetic damage and type 4 taking 5 years to reload. Probably still not worth the golden order though lol
I played Breda PG on an engineer back when campaigns were around, i definitely recommend it for engineers. especially if you have schnellfeuer to back it up. De lisle carbine is not an HMG caliber, it is chambered in 45 ACP, aka the same caliber as M1911A1 and all the thompsons. Suppressed revolver can fire quite fast, like almost as fast as a grease gun, but you cannot aim while firing it that fast.
I've been using the scotti mod X recently, it's much better than the free semi auto at tier 2 for Germany, it's got 1 more damage and faster reload speed which helps especially when fighting russians with body armor (fully upgraded armagura hitmarkers them)
The m1e5 garand ability to be used by tankers is interesting. Although I would rather something like the m2a1 carbine. Also the lanchester mod 1 is not a mp40, more like mp41(r).
Hey para, I am split between the artillery luger and the conders, I basically only play germany low br, never tried high br but still far from silver and research to have competitive weapons, so would you recommend saving it for the conder or even another nation or just enjoying the luger now?
By your own logic you should have rated the Type Hei rifles a definite buy - similar to the artillery luger - as the Type Hei are better than any other semi automatic rifles the japanese have at BR IV. Therefor you can increase your power level significantly with them. Possibly more significant than you can with using an Artillery Luger over an ordinary pistol. Compared to the Type 4 the Type Hei may lose slightly on damage but offers a 45% faster reload, better recoil and dispersion as well as arguably much better sights resulting in a much more operable rifle for a multitude of situational uses. Even the Type Hei Extended - while slightly worse than the late Hei - is still better than the Type 4.
your point makes sense, though the upgrades arent that significant & i strongly anticipated a select fire rifle to be released soon when making that video (which was confirmed last week with the upcoming assault rifle). therefore i specifically avoided anyone to recommend buying a weapon they would regret within 1-2 months of buying. ive learned the rhythm of gaijin releasing new weapons over the last 2 years, so i always look a quarter in the future to see whether something will retain its value.
@@paradivision1362Half the reload time and better control with your main rifle is arguably much more valuable than having some more rounds in your secondary but I see your point in anticipating a better rifle option for Japan. It´s to be anticipated that If things go well for Enlisted BR I and IV get disconnected from their current grouping and get their own +/- 1 matchmaker which would make weapons specific for that BR worth it again. That´s a big "if" as enlisted suddenly needs to get much more successful but when that moment might come some weapons - especially those removed from the battlepass section - can become quite sought-after again.

@paradivision1362 the gorov isn't great but you missed out the part where it's not for the machine gunner class, it's for rifle men, engineers etc. Still in the wrong br.
The De Lisle has a huge caliber but you have to take a look at the muzzle velocity. In order to make it really quiet they had to use subsonic ammunition, so it has to fire under 340.29 m/s, which is the speed of sound or otherwise it will create a sonic boom when firing. Other bolt actions in this game have a muzzle velocity 3 times higher than the De Lisle, which explains the kinda weak bullets. Still it could have been a really interesting gold order choice if the devs just had bended realistic credibility a bit (like they did with many other weapons such as semi auto vs bolt action damage) and just given it bolt action damage or at least semi auto damage, even at the cost of rate of fire or a much higher damage drop off. The way they implemented it made it useless from the beginning. A waste of work time.
owen .45 is worse than every other unlock possible for allies imo. sten is pretty good so infinitely better and even a shotty or just a knife is probably better...
*I am a little confused on the "Best Gold Order Soldiers" part because you say if you are new to the game then you should get a Engineer and I 100% agree, you NEED an engineer in your squad and I have one in everyone of my squads but I did not actually hear you say what Gold Order Soldiers to pick if you are NOT new to the game.* *Maybe the Machine Gunner Soldier? I want to get a USA Gold Order soldier.*
i meant, that if youre not new, it heavily depends of how far you already progressed, because normal progression makes gold order soldiers quite useless. i recommend waiting until the gold order soldier system gets overhauled and then spend your saved up orders profitably.
