That whole area around Helena, White Sulfur Springs, Neihart, and Monarch is full of gold, silver, and sapphires. I’ve panned Belt and Hughsville Creeks when I was younger and did alright.

If you take your black sand grind it to a powder .a stone pestel and mortor works well .you'll be surprised of the amount you can recover

You can use any surfactant, but soaps leave suds so I usually stay away from that when possible

My first pay dirt bag was from these guys. My bag looked the same as yours and was a little confused about the rocks in the +kitchen strainer size. It was fun and I got about the same amount of gold you did. I don’t remember what it weighted tho.

Cool video Klesh. I live super close to there. Too bad nobody gives honest bags. And coming from a mine there’s no way it hasn’t been searched. You probably already knew that. Yeah this area has a TON of mica and decayed granite. And our dirt clumps naturally like that. There’s a lot of rock flour here. Or clay whatever you wanna call it. Add a bunch of jet dry too. Our gold floats really easy. And yeah, lack of black sand, sure sign it’s been ran. This area has mainly black sand. And being close to Confederate Gulch they should have a lot too. (Confederate is the next gulch to the north) I have a video where I drive right past it. It’s decayed granite. The cement is natural cement made from rock flour by the glacial lake receding and heavies and time packing it down. Hematite is what the small red thing was. Good review Klesh. If you decide to come through you may want to check that area out. A lot is open to the public.(Montana loves the public spaces) Have a great on buddy and see you on the next one.

Thanks Kevin that's good to know. I figured it was granite / quartz because of the heaviness and roughness. I will be doing Montana in a future video, maybe I'll head there to Confederate Gulch and find some gold!

No maybes my friend. If you stick your pan in a creek or stream in Montana your going to get gold. 😎 Sometimes you may even get some platinum or silver😉 especially if your over by Big Timber when you search.🤔 Good luck and I’ll be watching for the video. Happy hunting bro.

lankywhiteguy Montana is a beautiful spot. Not just for prospecting either. We have three major national parks Yellowstone and Glacier and Bob Marshall Wilderness. Hundreds of ghost towns and miles and miles of open public space. The only thing Montana asks is have fun be safe and the locals have a saying “Don’t California our Montana” example Bozeman MT. Non resident Out of state population-35k and growing, Resident population-11k and falling.

I can only say to pan it yet again and again until you get your minimum guaranteed amount. Try doing only one spoonful at a time as well, that's a big help!

Am I the only one that saw a little piece in the bottom of the pan right before he set it aside after the second pan? Look right in the bottom corner :P Also I think the difference is that's not placer material, that's likely hard rock material that's been crushed. That's why there's so many big chunky pieces and why the gold is so jagged.

looks like granite w/ rotting quarts. I got 4 bags of this paydirt today in the mail today. I got it for a lot less on ebay, as he had the price drop on, the more you buy the less it is. I got it for $52.72 shipped for 4 bags. $13.18 a bag. Been a while since I panned anything and since I had my safe with my .45 pistol, my prospecting bros ashes, all my gold and some other odds and ends stolen from me from the safe. I have no gold anymore I could have added to dirt. This will be a bit of practice. I will report back what I get. I mainly got it because of the description on ebay was a riot to read. It is so typical of someone selling on there and tired of the people who think paydirt is supposed to make you rich.

Always smart to make sure there's a guaranteed minimum amount of gold , not just "guaranteed gold". Big difference in getting ripped off and knowing you're getting at least a certain amount of gold before you buy ⛏⛏👍
