In this video I find a puddler responsible for gold nuggets in the road and also a beautiful nugget in old timers discarded stacks of conglomerate rock.
love your videos!!! I really like the fact you show and talk about the old timers, the history is so important! Please keep up the fantastic work and please keep these great videos coming!!!
The way the 7 was warbling on that smashed up conglomerate, i would say possibly grams of fine gold hiding in there, if the old timers brought it there, you know it was for a reason!!!
Nice educational video. I was hoping you would pan out the lump remains to see if there was any fine stuff in there. I guess your time is better spent with the detector tho? Cheers & good luck.
seeing some of the old timers work and all the effort they put into it, it's a shame they still left gold behind. Well it's not a shame that you found it though. Good on ya!

I'm a complete newbie, thank you for your tips and also showing how it is done. I assume that your small spade is plastic so as not to set the detector off, is that correct?
Correct you need a non metal scoop. I bought mine at the in the gardening section of the local hardware store for a couple dollars. Thanks for watching and your comments.
