I love autumn leaves, castles, Ayleid arches, and wooden cabins/cottages. The entire aesthetic of this expansion is 10/10. Everyone is looking for information about Scribbing, but I'm dying to know what the housing update is. I feel so teased. 😅 I'll be wondering what the housing update is every day until they tell us.

Such a shame. This is the worst reveal i ever seen. 10 years and they do backflip which u can cha ge cokor comon it suck a lot. Pvp they didnt show cuz they have no idea what they will do but mark my word , when they do its gonna suck as well

Dang, sorry to hear it. I would definitely recommend running dungeons with likeminded peeps that you can find in guilds! It’s what I do, and I always have great dungeon experiences 🙏

Yeah honestly I just started recently. And this game has one of the absolute worst new player experiences, and the community is 9/10 of that. I've been told "STFU noob" asking for time for dungeon quests. All sorts of stupid stuff, I've had to make more reports in a couple weeks, then I have in any other MMORPG in years. This game has a super super toxic community, this game is gonna have some ban waves coming out

Ive also never had an issue. "Im a noob. Reading stuff hold up" in local and I get "np" followed by people dancing and emoting around me 😂😂 If the community is toxic to you, youre either playing with the wrong people or being toxic first.

I’m with you when it comes to making the game easier to pick up for casual players and new players, what they need to do is have a optional hard mode, just like they do with trials and some dungeons for open world play. Just a thought and I don’t think that would hurt anyone and keeps all happy.

Sometimes I miss the old system a little bit. The world actually felt threatening, and you really had to be careful. I remember finding a way around the castle between Stonefalls and The Rift, normally you have to do a quest to get through but I semi climbed the mountains behind and got the the bridge behind the quest-locked gate lol. Keep in mind that Stonefalls is the beginner zone for the Pact with mobs in the lowest levels, then in contrast you have the Rift with enemies over lvl 40. I got there and spotted skeletons in lvl 40-something and was suuuper careful, sneaking around and exploring. It was amazing

I spent a grip of time learning Vet. Right when I started to really understand what was needed from me and for end game...boom! no more vet system😅😅. That is one of the hardest parts of playing beta until present in a game that has evolved so much. I would finally start figuring out mechanics , sets, etc and then...naw, we arnt doing that any more 🫥 There would be HUGE game mechanics overhauls. Not little things like balancing or adding new content. But legit overhauls. After vet, I have been very leary of bothering to understand all the nuances of skills, champion, gear, mechanics, or even runs because there is a good chance it is just going to have a major shift. I am no way saying that many of these evolutionary shifts were bad. Vet was a bad system. One Tamrial is everything. Gold silver tower did need overhauls. The first trees were stale and character stifling, and the change to the champion system is much better. It's just frustrating for me to have to relearn everything. The growing pains are real and this game will probably never stop developmentally growing, which is great. Just not for my ADHD, dyslexic, dyscalculia, and other learning disability ass 😂😂 regardless, I still will keep playing. As of now, I limp along and bother to venture into new game mechanics when I am feeling brave, but atm...I am OK being in a top tier trade guild, obsessing over my house, and farm for my decompress time after uni. Maybe this summer, when I have more time, patience, and emotional energy, I can drag out my combat matrics, try some of the newer classes, story lines, and maybe start doing harder runs. Lol I haven't even attempted maelstrom arena since it's drop or any of the newer runs since 2017 yet have them all lol Might as well do SOMETHING with the literal 1000's hours of chapter and DLCs content I haven't even experienced 😅

i really love the idea of spellcrafting...but it (again) comes all down to this: What is it good for? Again nothing of importance for the gameplay until endgame. PVE-Players in the Overworld get another set of skills, that they do not need, because just one AOE-Spam-Skill is enough to beat everything without any greater risk. Balance/learning curve is completley off in this game. And i doubt that speelcrafting was something, that was primary on the wishlist of endgame players. It is something for the Roleplayers & PVE-Questers to add to the richness of the RPG-element ingame. So they get this aswell, but again it will feel totally off in terms of balance and why something like this is in the game in the first place.They finaly need to adress this huge problem in the game. Very Easy content is okay for the first 1-2 hours. But then it should start to become more challenging until the final levels. Very easy (tutorial / fist hours) - Easy - medium - hard (endgame).

lol people are allowed to dislike things while hoping those same things get better. I like the tes world and lore but this game has some serious issues that keep me from putting any time into it. Would be nice if the combat got improved and if there were more options for pvp, but even that isnt enough imo. The desisions they make even with this expack are extremely greedy and money hungery.@@Michael64425

@@DA-xz6wm Tiber Septim used the power of CHIM to change history, so Cyrodil and central Tamriel was never a jungle, even though it was a jungle in the past. Getting a headache now. But you are right, even though he had already changed the jungles from the future, he hadn't died yet, so couldn't turn in his grave. 😖

@@nelson_rebel3907 Its one on those wibbly wobbly timey wimey things. He changed history so that the jungle never existed in the first place. Which is why at the time of ESO the central empire area (Cyrodil et al) isn't covered in Jungle. He made the change somewhere around the start of the third era, but the effect was that jungles were redacted right back into the Merethic Era so they never existed. ESO is full of time slips, loops, paradoxes and the occasional Dragon Break.

I do wonder what kind of primary/secondary/tertiary effects we will be able to scribe these skills with. Maybe we will get some effects that resemble the kind of things that we had in the other Elder Scrolls games that are missing from ESO 🤔

Maaaaaaaybe an increase in housing furnishings or more items that are pre-made instead of use doing things brick by brick? I was over the moon with all the walls, doors, stairs, flower pots with plants already apart of it, etc that have come out last year. I would love more of that. Tbh...there is ONE thing stupid , silly thing that would make me ridiculously happy. A music box with an upbeat sea chanty type tune. Something that makes my hard war torn too want to stamp their boots to the beat, clap their hands, grab a partner, and sing along. All their "rowdy" pub song would put most of my toons to sleep.

I was a little disappointed with the answer too, but I appreciated that the dev's at least have a vision for how they want the overland content to be like and they are sticking to it, I can respect that decision.

Yeah main reason why I never came back to ESO sadly. I really liked overland content but it is just too easy

Infinite Archive was free and we got that in Q4 of 2023 so that would be pretty sweet if we got some free companions for Q4 in 2024 as well!

Yeah I was a bit disappointed with the answer as well, but I understand where their creative vision lies. One of my favourite games is Valheim, and the devs of that game have been asked for *easier* content from some of their players, and they always double down and assert that they have a specific vision for the game and they are going to stick with it. Some players may not like that, but most players can respect the fact that they have a specific vision for the game and are sticking to it. I think the same can be said for ESO.

​​@@ArtteaGood points and well said! I'm personally a soulsborne player, so I love the challenge, and similarly, they have a vision like valhiem. ESO has everything I want in an MMO besides the questing difficulty/combat, but as you said, it's understandable considering their specific vision welcoming for all style

I started back in 2015 on ps4, leveled 2 characters rank veteran 12, then 14, then 16. Had 1200cps when the cap was 480 or so. I started playing again in 2018 on pc and now I have 2000cp ( I stopped playing bunch of times ) 12 characters full geared. I'd say you could try it on pc and play it chill at the beginning, is a huge difference!😊

I jumped from PS4 to PC about 2 yrs ago. It goes fast and isn't the horrible grind I thought. Cheers

I dunno guys, all the achievements, mounts etc. I probably poured 1k in euros to the game as well so to get all those housing items, motifs etc. 💀 Geez makes me sweat from fear already

@@forest_hobo I'm in same shoes, but different. I deleted my PC account in 2018 (personal reasons, had to be done), but life changed and now I'm back. Playing already month and it's fun. It's sad to not have old things, character, house, but if you like the game, why not. It's not like we will have great MMO's soon. Also it's a fast to get back, because you already have knowledge about the game and now you will have addons to support you.

Scribing will only be available to those that purchase the Gold Road chapter, as it comes with that specific piece of content (it won't be a base game feature unfortunately). So if you're looking to purchase Necrom *and* have access to scribing, it may be best to just purchase the version of Gold Road that comes with all of the previous chapters.

We are getting a pvp update AND companions in Q4. I don’t think they’ll necessarily be related.

Yeah I wonder if making a new weapon will even be possible at this point - I've always wondered how they would be able to integrate the existing motif styles into a new weapon. The devs did mention that there will be a future stream that further delves into what scribing is, so I look forward to catching that stream!

@@Arttea that is My main concern as well, it would be a lot to implement but i feel like a lot of us would be okay with them maybe not doing All the motifs for a New weapon? Idk would be cool to have more choice than just a staff though! And Will for sure catch more info on the scribing!

Out of curiosity, what type of achievements rewards would you like? Tbh, although i love the game regardless of how badly I play, I was kinda bummed when they stopped incorporating the dyes for achievements. It sounds super silly and lame, like, who cares about dyes? I don't know why that bummed me out so much. I agree with you tho. Getting a title isn't doing it for me. I would be happier with maybe more exclusive furniture for the harder achievements or idle animations . Maybe even another 5 item pet or an extra 30/60 item chest that is featured as an armoire or something. Maybe some pet interaction animations. I don't know, but something that will really get me excited about maybe playing a different way just to get the reward. Like, i hate fishing, but i want that damned boat, so i fish. And bring back the stupid dyes 😡👀

I remember a while back the devs shared that they were going to be straying away from the "year long format" of content, and I think a lot of us thought that meant that all of the content that would be released in a single year would no longer be related to one another. INSTEAD, it seems to have meant that the year-long story format has been replaced by one that spans multiple years, and yeah, I can see how that may not be appreciated by some players. I never finished the Necrom questline for example! So finding out about the major plot point for Gold Road spoiled the ending of Necrom for me

@@Arttea I haven't played Necrom either as it just looks too much like a mashup of the Morrowind expansion and the Dragonborn dlc from Skyrim and I've already played both. Was waiting for arcanist to hit the crown store to buy that separately. Now I feel like I have to buy the full expansion instead just to be able to access all the content in the next one. I love ESO but if this keeps up I'll probably end up looking at other mmos instead.
