It’s the lack of consistency that angers people as holding players in the box regularly happens but only Man City get the decision given by Micheal Oliver (VAR) who failed to send Kovatic off in the Arsenal match for 2 red card offences. I think the issue is the precedent this sets. It’s extremely soft. You can say it’s ‘soft but a fact’, but we’ve seen offences 10x, 20x worse not being given so it’s basically just a lottery at this point. I’m not taking sides cause I know either way, every team is gonna get shafted at some point cause officiating is so terrible
