You know I grew up young on the 80's and one if my all time fav songs was "Twilight Zone" then got older and listened to classic radio and really came to love this song - flying down the road in my car singing along w it, and since they never say the band names anymore, I only just found out a few months ago it's the same band that does both songs! 🤦‍♀️ Rocking the 70's and 80's!!

I am sorry to tell if you dont know yet that George Kooymans the guitarist has ALS disease (muscle disease if i say right) suddenly and cant play the guitar anymore. They had to decide to stop at once with the band not long ago in '22, it was a shock for them, for us, they were still going strong and they are friends all of their lifes. As a Dutch guy it was so normal they were there all of my life, the band was just as old as the Stones are, and long before Radar Love they made albums and their hitsongs were often on fm radio in the Netherlands. I was born some years before they started in '62 or '63, so you could say they were there all of my life offcourse it is sad and i feel much for George who was very important for all they did. Not forgetting to say that Eelco Gelling is on this video as their extra guitarist, was one of Hollands best bluesplayers (he was also asked for John Mayalls band long ago) we had and have because he's also still here, but had some personal problems like all of us could get. But he is on their live album LIVE 1977 with also Radar Love that is 11.45 minutes, i just took a look.

I've loved this song since it first came out when I was 14yo. Still do to this day. An all time classic that will never be forgotten . . . but, a mate bought the album thinking they must be "an amazing band" if Radar Love was an indication of their talent. Upon listening to the album the first [and last] time, a group of mates all agreed "You should have bought the single" [of Radar Love] Golden Earring were a one hit wonder.
