These guys opened for a Rush show I saw in '83. Wasn't expecting much but they won everyone over. Crowd LOVED them that night.

The Lift operator at 3:28 is actor Huub Stapel from the 1983 Dutch Horror movie “De Lift”. A good film about a mad lift.

In the 90's The Music Factory introduced me to their music, also to U2, Oasis, Guy Richie films, all kinds of experimental shit, it was marvelous

I never heard this song back in the day, but, hey, it's pretty good and has a lot of variety in it. It was nice to hear 70's bands successfully update their sound.

1:00 to 1:20. Classic Earring. Nobody does it like them. A band has to be so tight to be able to pull that off, or even imagine it. And that only comes from playing together for years. One of the best ten rock bands. Period.

Yes, i remember being disturbed by the lobotomy scene back in 1985?? Great song though, I still listen to it, even in now. You wont hear this song, EVER, in Texas. Not even on the classic rock stations. Good thing I have a good memory. And thank you people for posting this on YT.

I've never seen this version. Not much is different from the version I have always watched, but it was a bit jarring when the differences showed up. It seemed like a shorter version than I am used to. Oh, I just realized I've been watching the uncensored version all these years!!

That guitar riff and the video itself remind me a bit of Robert Palmer's "John and Mary" from a few years earlier.

I seldom watch the videos that go with the music, but I like this one. It's delightfully bent. White Tigress -- "the beast inside your paradise" -- smiles. xxxxooo
